BNV : তাই তোমরা সকলে যীশুর বিষয়ে চিন্তা কর৷ ঈশ্বর যীশুকে আমাদের কাছে পাঠিয়েছেন৷ তিনি আমাদের ধর্ম বিশ্বাসের মহাযাজক৷ আমার পবিত্র ভাই ও বোনেরা, আমি তোমাদের বলছি তোমরা এক স্বর্গীয় আহ্বান পেয়েছ৷
KJV : Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
YLT : Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the apostle and chief priest of our profession, Christ Jesus,
RV : Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, {cf15i even} Jesus;

ERVEN : So, my brothers and sisters, those chosen by God to be his holy people think about Jesus. He is the one we believe God sent to save us and to be our high priest.

BNV : ঈশ্বর যীশুকে আমাদের কাছে পাঠালেন আর তাঁকে তিনি আমাদের মহাযাজক করলেন৷ মোশির মতন যীশুও ঈশ্বরের প্রতি বিশ্বস্ত ছিলেন৷ যীশুর কাছে ঈশ্বর যা কিছু চেয়েছিলেন, ঈশ্বরের সেই গৃহরূপ মণ্ডলীতে তিনি সে সবই করলেন৷
KJV : Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses [was faithful] in all his house.
YLT : being stedfast to Him who did appoint him, as also Moses in all his house,
RV : who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.
RSV : He was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in God's house.
ASV : who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also was Moses in all his house.

ERVEN : God made him our high priest, and he was faithful to God just as Moses was. He did everything God wanted him to do in God's house.

BNV : কেউ যখন কোন গৃহ নির্মাণ করে তখন গৃহ থেকে গৃহনির্মাতার মর্য়াদা অধিক হয়, যীশুর বেলায়ও ঠিক তাই হয়েছে, সুতরাং মোশির থেকে অধিক সম্মান যীশুরই প্রাপ্য়৷
KJV : For this [man] was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house.
YLT : for of more glory than Moses hath this one been counted worthy, inasmuch as more honour than the house hath he who doth build it,
RV : For he hath been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as he that built the house hath more honour than the house.
RSV : Yet Jesus has been counted worthy of as much more glory than Moses as the builder of a house has more honor than the house.
ASV : For he hath been counted worthy of more glory than Moses, by so much as he that built the house hath more honor than the house.
ESV : For Jesus has been counted worthy of more glory than Moses- as much more glory as the builder of a house has more honor than the house itself.
ERVEN : When someone builds a house, people will honor the builder more than the house. It is the same with Jesus. He should have more honor than Moses.

BNV : প্রত্যেক গৃহ কেউ না কেউ নির্মাণ করে, কিন্তু ঈশ্বর সবকিছু নির্মাণ করেছেন৷
KJV : For every house is builded by some [man;] but he that built all things [is] God.
YLT : for every house is builded by some one, and He who the all things did build [is] God,
RV : For every house is builded by some one; but he that built all things is God.
RSV : (For every house is built by some one, but the builder of all things is God.)
ASV : For every house is builded by some one; but he that built all things is God.

ERVEN : Every house is built by someone, but God built everything.

BNV : মোশি ঈশ্বরের গৃহে সেবকরূপে বিশ্বস্তভাবে কাজ করেছিলেন আর ঈশ্বর ভবিষ্যতে যা বলবেন তা লোকদের কাছে মোশিই বললেন৷
KJV : And Moses verily [was] faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
YLT : and Moses indeed [was] stedfast in all his house, as an attendant, for a testimony of those things that were to be spoken,
RV : And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were afterward to be spoken;
RSV : Now Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant, to testify to the things that were to be spoken later,

ERVEN : Moses was faithful as a servant in God's whole house. He told people what God would say in the future.

BNV : কিন্তু খ্রীষ্ট পুত্র হিসাবে ঈশ্বরের গৃহের কর্তা; আমরা বিশ্বাসীরাই তাঁর গৃহ, আর তাই থাকব যদি আমরা আমাদের সেই মহান প্রত্যাশা সম্পর্কে সাহস ও গর্ব নিয়ে চলি৷
KJV : But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
YLT : and Christ, as a Son over his house, whose house are we, if the boldness and the rejoicing of the hope unto the end we hold fast.
RV : but Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm unto the end.
RSV : but Christ was faithful over God's house as a son. And we are his house if we hold fast our confidence and pride in our hope.

BNV : তাই পবিত্র আত্মা য়েমন বলছেন:‘আজ, তোমরা যদি ঈশ্বরের রব শোন,
KJV : Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
YLT : Wherefore, (as the Holy Spirit saith, `To-day, if His voice ye may hear --
RV : Wherefore, even as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye shall hear his voice,

BNV : অতীত দিনের মতো হৃদয় কঠিন করো না, য়ে দিন তোমরা ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ করেছিলে; সেদিন তোমরা প্রান্তরে ঈশ্বরের পরীক্ষা করেছিলে৷
KJV : Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
YLT : ye may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of the temptation in the wilderness,
RV : Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, Like as in the day of the temptation in the wilderness,
RSV : do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, on the day of testing in the wilderness,

ERVEN : don't be stubborn as you were in the past, when you turned against God. That was the day you tested God in the desert.

BNV : সেই প্রান্তরে তোমাদের পিতৃপুরুষরা চল্লিশ বছর ধরে আমার সমস্ত কীর্তি দেখতে পেয়েছিল, তবু তারা আমার ধৈর্য্য পরীক্ষা করল৷
KJV : When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
YLT : in which tempt Me did your fathers, they did prove Me, and saw My works forty years;
RV : Wherewith your fathers tempted {cf15i me} by proving {cf15i me}, And saw my works forty years.
RSV : where your fathers put me to the test and saw my works for forty years.
ASV : Where your fathers tried me by proving me, And saw my works forty years.

ERVEN : For 40 years in the desert your people saw what I did. But they tested me and my patience.

BNV : তাই আমি এই জাতির ওপর ক্রুদ্ধ হলাম ও বললাম, ‘এরা সব সময় ভুল চিন্তা করে, এই লোকেরা কখনও আমার পথ বুঝল না৷’
KJV : Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in [their] heart; and they have not known my ways.
YLT : wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, Always do they go astray in heart, and these have not known My ways;
RV : Wherefore I was displeased with this generation, And said, They do alway err in their heart: But they did not know my ways;
RSV : Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, `They always go astray in their hearts; they have not known my ways.'
ASV : Wherefore I was displeased with this generation, And said, They do always err in their heart: But they did not know my ways;
ESV : for forty years. Therefore I was provoked with that generation, and said, 'They always go astray in their heart; they have not known my ways.'
ERVEN : So I was angry with them. I said, 'Their thoughts are always wrong. They have never understood my ways.'

BNV : তখন আমি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়ে এই শপথ করলাম:‘তারা কখনই আমার বিশ্রাম স্থানে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে না৷’ গীতসংহিতা 95 :7-11
KJV : So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
YLT : so I sware in My anger, If they shall enter into My rest -- !`)
RV : As I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.
RSV : As I swore in my wrath, `They shall never enter my rest.'"
ASV : As I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.

ERVEN : So I was angry and made a promise: 'They will never enter my place of rest.'"

BNV : আমার ভাই ও বোনেরা, দেখো, তোমরা সতর্ক থেকো, তোমাদের মধ্যে কারো য়েন দুষ্ট ও অবিশ্বাসী হৃদয় না থাকে যা জীবন্ত ঈশ্বর থেকে তোমাদের দূরে সরিয়ে নিয়ে যায়৷
KJV : Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
YLT : See, brethren, lest there shall be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in the falling away from the living God,
RV : Take heed, brethren, lest haply there shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God:
RSV : Take care, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God.

ERVEN : So, brothers and sisters, be careful that none of you has the evil thoughts that cause so much doubt that you stop following the living God.

BNV : তোমরা দিনের পর দিন একে অপরকে উত্‌সাহিত কর যতক্ষণ সময় ‘আজ’ আছে৷ পাপের ছলনা য়েন তোমাদের হৃদয়কে নির্মম না করে৷
KJV : But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
YLT : but exhort ye one another every day, while the To-day is called, that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of the sin,
RV : but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called Today; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin:
RSV : But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "today," that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

ERVEN : But encourage each other every day, while you still have something called "today. " Help each other so that none of you will be fooled by sin and become too hard to change.

BNV : শুরুতে আমাদের য়ে বিশ্বাস ছিল যদি শেষ পর্যন্ত আমরা সেই বিশ্বাসে স্থির থাকি তাহলে আমরা সকলেই খ্রীষ্টের সহভাগী৷
KJV : For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
YLT : for partakers we have become of the Christ, if the beginning of the confidence unto the end we may hold fast,
RV : for we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end:
RSV : For we share in Christ, if only we hold our first confidence firm to the end,
ASV : for we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end:
ESV : For we share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.
ERVEN : We have the honor of sharing in all that Christ has if we continue until the end to have the sure faith we had in the beginning.

BNV : শাস্ত্র তো এই কথা বলে:‘আজ যদি তোমরা ঈশ্বরের রব শোন, তাহলে তোমাদের অন্তর কঠোর করো না, য়েমন সেই বিদ্রোহের দিনে করেছিলে৷’গীতসংহিতা 95 :7-8
KJV : While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
YLT : in its being said, `To-day, if His voice ye may hear, ye may not harden your hearts, as in the provocation,`
RV : while it is said, Today if ye shall hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
RSV : while it is said, "Today, when you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion."

ERVEN : That's why the Spirit said, "If you hear God's voice today, don't be stubborn as in the past when you turned against God."

BNV : যাঁরা ঈশ্বরের রব শোনার পরও তাঁর বিরুদ্ধে বিদ্রোহ করেছিল, প্রশ্ন হল তারা কারা? মোশি যাদের মিশর থেকে বের করে নিয়ে এসেছিলেন তারাই কি নয়?
KJV : For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
YLT : for certain having heard did provoke, but not all who did come out of Egypt through Moses;
RV : For who, when they heard, did provoke? nay, did not all they that came out of Egypt by Moses?
RSV : Who were they that heard and yet were rebellious? Was it not all those who left Egypt under the leadership of Moses?
ASV : For who, when they heard, did provoke? nay, did not all they that came out of Egypt by Moses?
ESV : For who were those who heard and yet rebelled? Was it not all those who left Egypt led by Moses?
ERVEN : Who were those who heard God's voice and turned against him? It was all the people Moses led out of Egypt.

BNV : আর কাদের ওপরই বা ঈশ্বর চল্লিশ বছর ধরে ক্রুদ্ধ ছিলেন? সেই লোকদের ওপরে নয় কি যাঁরা পাপ করেছিল ও তার ফলে প্রান্তরে মারা পড়েছিল?
KJV : But with whom was he grieved forty years? [was it] not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
YLT : but with whom was He grieved forty years? was it not with those who did sin, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
RV : And with whom was he displeased forty years? was it not with them that sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?
RSV : And with whom was he provoked forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?

ERVEN : And who was God angry with for 40 years? He was angry with those who sinned. And their dead bodies were left in the desert.

BNV : তিনি কাদের বিরুদ্ধেই বা শপথ করে বলেছিলেন, ‘এরা আমার বিশ্রামের স্থানে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে না?’ যাঁরা অবাধ্য হয়েছিল তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কি নয়?
KJV : And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?
YLT : and to whom did He swear that they shall not enter into His rest, except to those who did not believe? --
RV : And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that were disobedient?
RSV : And to whom did he swear that they should never enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
ASV : And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that were disobedient?
ESV : And to whom did he swear that they would not enter his rest, but to those who were disobedient?
ERVEN : And which people was God talking to when he promised that they would never enter his place of rest? He was talking to those who did not obey him.

BNV : তাহলে এখন আমরা দেখলাম য়ে, অবিশ্বাসের দরুনই তারা ঈশ্বরের বিশ্রামের স্থানে প্রবেশ করতে পারল না৷
KJV : So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
YLT : and we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
RV : And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
RSV : So we see that they were unable to enter because of unbelief.
ASV : And we see that they were not able to enter in because of unbelief.
