অতীতে বিধি-ব্যবস্থা আমাদের বন্দী করে রেখেছিল, কিন্তু এখন আমাদের পুরানো সত্ত্বার মৃত্যু হয়েছে এবং আমরা বিধি-ব্যবস্থার বন্ধন থেকে মুক্ত হয়েছি৷ এখন আমরা নুতন ধারায় ঈশ্বরের সেবা করি, পুরানো লিখিত বিধি-ব্যবস্থার নির্দেশ অনুসারে নয় কিন্তু পবিত্র আত্মার নির্দেশে৷

But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not [in] the oldness of the letter.
