ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು; ನೀನು ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಿಗೆ ಸೇರುವಿ; ನಾನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಕಾಣುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬದು. ಅವರು ಹೋಗಿ ಈ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

‘ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಜೊತೆ ಸೇರುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನೀನು ಶಾಂತಿಯಿಂದ ಸತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರುವೆ. ಈ ದೇಶದ (ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿನ) ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ತರಲಿರುವ ಕೇಡುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂಬುದೇ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳು. ನಂತರ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಹಿಲ್ಕೀಯ, ಅಹೀಕಾಮ್, ಅಕ್ಬೋರ್, ಶಾಫಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಾಯ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದು ರಾಜನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
