You tore your clothes to show your sadness and you began to cry. That is why I heard you.' The Lord says this.

"ଯିହୁଦା ରାଜା ଯୋଶିୟଯ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ପଚାରିବାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କୁହ, 'ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଏହିକଥା କହନ୍ତି, ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ପୁସ୍ତକରୁ ପଢି ଶୁଣିଛ, ମାରେ ବାକ୍ଯଗୁଡିକ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ଓ ଏହାର ନିବାସୀମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଥିଲା। ଭୟଙ୍କର ଜିନିଷ ଏହି ନିବାସୀ ଓ ଏହି ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଘଟିବ। ଏହାଶୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭର ହୃଦଯ କୋମଳ ହେଲା। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଛାମୁ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ନମ୍ର କଲ ଓ ନିଜ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଚିରିଲ ଓ ମାେ ଛାମୁ ରେ କ୍ରନ୍ଦନ କଲ। ଏଣୁ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ବିନତି ଶୁଣିଲି।'
