ಸೌಲನೂ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕನೂ ಸಮುವೇಲನೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಸೌಲನಿಗೆ, “ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗಲು ತಿಳಿಸು. ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಸೇವಕನು ಅವರಿಂದ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆದನು.
