BNV পরপর সাত বার একই ঘটনা ঘটার পর সাতবারের বার সেই ভৃত্য এসে বলল, “মানুষের হাতের মুঠোর মতো ছোট্ট এক টুকরো মেঘ দেখলাম সমুদ্রের দিক থেকে আসছে|”এলিয় তাঁর ভৃত্যকে বললেন, “যাও রাজা আহাবকে তাঁর রথ প্রস্তুত করে বাড়িতে য়েতে বলো কারণ এক্ষুনি রওনা না হলে ও বৃষ্টিতে আটকে যাবে|”
KJV And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare [thy chariot,] and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.
YLT And it cometh to pass, at the seventh, that he saith, `Lo, a little thickness as the palm of a man is coming up out of the sea.` And he saith, `Go up, say unto Ahab, `Bind -- and go down, and the shower doth not restrain thee.`
RV And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a cloud out of the sea, as small as a man-s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Make ready {cf15i thy chariot}, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.
RSV And at the seventh time he said, "Behold, a little cloud like a man's hand is rising out of the sea." And he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, `Prepare your chariot and go down, lest the rain stop you.'"
ASV And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a cloud out of the sea, as small as a mans hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Make ready thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not.
ESV And at the seventh time he said, "Behold, a little cloud like a man's hand is rising from the sea." And he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot and go down, lest the rain stop you.'"
ERVEN The seventh time, the servant came back and said, "I saw a small cloud the size of a man's fist that was coming in from the sea." Elijah told the servant, "Go to tell King Ahab to get his chariot ready and go home now. If he does not leave now, the rain will stop him."
