ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬಾಮನು ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿನ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಶೀಲೋವಿನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಅಹೀಯನು ಅವನನ್ನು ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಧಿಸಿದನು. ಅಹೀಯನು ಹೊಸ ಅಂಗಿಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದನು. ನಿರ್ಜನವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರೇ ಇದ್ದರು.
