ત્યારબાદ દાઉદ ગયો અને યોનાથાન પોતાના ગામે પાછો આવ્યો.દાઉદ નોબ નગરમાં અહીમેલેખ યાજકને મળવા ગયો, અહીમેલેખે તેને જોયો એટલે તે કાંપવા લાગ્યો, તેણે પૂછયું, “તું કેમ એકલો છે? કેમ તારી સાથે કોઇ નથી?”
