BNV সে বলেছিল, ‘আমি যাব, তুমি অনুমতি দাও| বৈত্‌লেহেমে আমার বাড়ির সকলে য়জ্ঞে বলি দেবে| আমার ভাই যেতে বলেছে| আমি যদি তোমার বন্ধু হই তাহলে আমাকে তুমি যেতে দাও, ভাইদের সঙ্গে দেখা হবে|’ তাই ও রাজার টেবিলে খেতে আসে নি|”
KJV And he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother, he hath commanded me [to be there:] and now, if I have found favour in thine eyes, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he cometh not unto the king’s table.
YLT and he saith, Send me away, I pray thee, for a family sacrifice we have in the city, and my brother himself hath given command to me, and now, if I have found grace in thine eyes, let me go away, I pray thee, and see my brethren; therefore he hath not come unto the table of the king.`
RV and he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother, he hath commanded me {cf15i to be there}: and now, if I have found favour in thine eyes, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he is not come unto the king-s table.
RSV he said, `Let me go; for our family holds a sacrifice in the city, and my brother has commanded me to be there. So now, if I have found favor in your eyes, let me get away, and see my brothers.' For this reason he has not come to the king's table."
ASV and he said, Let me go, I pray thee; for our family hath a sacrifice in the city; and my brother, he hath commanded me to be there: and now, if I have found favor in thine eyes, let me get away, I pray thee, and see my brethren. Therefore he is not come unto the kings table.
ESV He said, 'Let me go, for our clan holds a sacrifice in the city, and my brother has commanded me to be there. So now, if I have found favor in your eyes, let me get away and see my brothers.' For this reason he has not come to the king's table."
ERVEN He said, 'Let me go. Our family is having a sacrifice in Bethlehem. My brother ordered me to be there. Now if I am your friend, please let me go and see my brothers.' That is why David has not come to the king's table."
