‘ಹಿಂದೆ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಕರವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಜನರು ಅನ್ನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದುಡಿಯಬೇಕಾಗುವುದು. ಹಿಂದೆ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹಸಿದಿದ್ದವರು ಇಂದು ತಿಂದು ಕೊಬ್ಬಿರುವರು! ಬಂಜೆಗೆ ಈಗ ಏಳು ಜನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿರುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದ ತಾಯಿ ಇಂದು ವೇದನೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವಳು ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಲ್ಲ ಸತ್ತು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

જે ધનવાન લોકો પાસે પુષ્કળ ખોરાક ભૂતકાળમાં હતો તેઓએ ખોરાક માંટે હવે કામ કરવું પડશે. જયારે ભૂખ્યાઓને હવે ભૂખ રહી નથી. વાંઝણી સ્ત્રીઓને સાત સાત સંતાનો છે અને જે સ્ત્રીને ઘણાં સંતાનો હતા તે દુ:ખી છે કેમકે તેમના સંતાનો જતા રહ્યાં છે.
