BNV য়িশযের কথা মতো ভোরবেলায দায়ূদ একজন রাখালের ওপর মেষগুলো দেখাশোনার দায়িত্ব দিয়ে খাবার দাবার নিয়ে চলে গেলেন| দায়ূদ শিবিরে ঠেলাগাড়ী চালিযে নিয়ে গেলেন| সেখানে পৌঁছে তিনি দেখলেন সৈন্যরা যুদ্ধের জন্য বেরিয়ে যাচ্ছে| ওরা সিংহনাদ দিতে থাকল|
KJV And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.
YLT And David riseth early in the morning, and leaveth the flock to a keeper, and lifteth up, and goeth, as Jesse commanded him, and he cometh in to the path, and to the force which is going out unto the rank, and they have shouted for battle;

ERVEN Early in the morning, David had another shepherd take care of the sheep while he took the food and left as Jesse had told him to. David drove their wagon to the camp. The soldiers were going out to their battle positions just as David arrived. The soldiers began shouting their war cry.
