BNV শৌল যাজক অহিযর সঙ্গে কথা বলছিলেন| ঈশ্বরের উপদেশের জন্য তিনি অপেক্ষা করছিলেন| কিন্তু পলেষ্টীয়দের শিবিরে গোলমাল আর চেঁচামেচি ক্রমশঃ বেড়েই চলেছিল| শৌল অধৈর্য়্য় হয়ে পড়লেন| অবশেষে তিনি যাজক অহিযকে বললেন, “আর নয়, এবার হাত নামাও| প্রার্থনা শেষ করো|”
KJV And it came to pass, while Saul talked unto the priest, that the noise that [was] in the host of the Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said unto the priest, Withdraw thine hand.
YLT And it cometh to pass, while Saul spake unto the priest, that the noise which [is] in the camp of the Philistines goeth on, going on and becoming great, and Saul saith unto the priest, `Remove thy hand.`
RV And it came to pass, while Saul talked unto the priest, that the tumult that was in the camp of the Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said unto the priest, Withdraw thine hand.
RSV And while Saul was talking to the priest, the tumult in the camp of the Philistines increased more and more; and Saul said to the priest, "Withdraw your hand."
ASV And it came to pass, while Saul talked unto the priest, that the tumult that was in the camp of the Philistines went on and increased: and Saul said unto the priest, Withdraw thy hand.
ESV Now while Saul was talking to the priest, the tumult in the camp of the Philistines increased more and more. So Saul said to the priest, "Withdraw your hand."
ERVEN Saul was talking to Ahijah the priest {waiting for advice from God}. But the noise and confusion in the Philistine camp was growing and growing. Saul was becoming impatient. Finally, he said to Ahijah the priest, "That's enough. Put your hand down {and stop praying}."
