BNV : সেই রাত্রে সমস্ত লোকরা শিবিরের মধ্যে প্রবল চিত্কার শুরু করল এবং কান্নাকাটিও করল|
KJV : And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.
YLT : And all the company lifteth up and give forth their voice, and the people weep during that night;

BNV : ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা মোশি ও হারোণের বিরুদ্ধে অভিয়োগ করতে লাগল| সমস্ত মানুষ এক জায়গায় একত্রিত হয়ে মোশি ও হারোণকে বলল, “আমাদের মিশরে অথবা মরুভূমিতে মরে যাওয়া উচিত্‌ ছিল| এই নতুন দেশে এসে নিহত হওয়ার থেকে সেটাই বরং ভালো ছিল|
KJV : And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!
YLT : and all the sons of Israel murmur against Moses, and against Aaron, and all the company say unto them, `O that we had died in the land of Egypt, or in this wilderness, O that we had died!

ESV : And all the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The whole congregation said to them, "Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would that we had died in this wilderness!
ERVEN : The Israelites complained against Moses and Aaron. All the people came together and said to Moses and Aaron, "We should have died in Egypt or in the desert.

BNV : যুদ্ধে হত হওয়ার জন্যেই কি প্রভু আমাদের এই নতুন দেশে নিয়ে এলেন? শত্রুরা আমাদের হত্যা করবে এবং আমাদের স্ত্রী ও সন্তানদের নিয়ে যাবে| মিশরে ফিরে যাওয়াই কি আমাদের পক্ষে ভালো নয়?”
KJV : And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
YLT : and why is Jehovah bringing us in unto this land to fall by the sword? our wives and our infants are become a prey; is it not good for us to turn back to Egypt?`
RV : And wherefore doth the LORD bring us unto this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones shall be a prey: were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

ERVEN : Did the Lord bring us to this new land to be killed in war? The enemy will kill us and take our wives and children! It would be better for us to go back to Egypt."

BNV : তখন লোকরা নিজেদের মধ্যে আলোচনা করে বলল, “এখন আমরা একজন নতুন নেতাকে নির্বাচন করবো এবং মিশরে ফিরে যাবো|”
KJV : And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.
YLT : And they say one unto another, `Let us appoint a head, and turn back to Egypt.`

KJV : Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
YLT : And Moses falleth -- Aaron also -- on their faces, before all the assembly of the company of the sons of Israel.

KJV : And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, [which were] of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:

BNV : সেখানে ইস্রায়েলের সমস্ত লোকর সামনে ঐ দুইজন বলল, “আমরা যে দেশটি দেখেছি সেটি খুবই ভালো|
KJV : And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, [is] an exceeding good land.

BNV : প্রভু যদি আমাদের উপর খুশী হয়ে থাকেন, তাহলে তিনিই আমাদের নেতৃত্ব দিয়ে ঐ জায়গায় নিয়ে যাবেন| এবং প্রভু আমাদের সেই সমৃদ্ধ এবং উর্বর দেশটি দিয়ে দেবেন!
KJV : If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
YLT : if Jehovah hath delighted in us, then He hath brought us in unto this land, and hath given it to us, a land which is flowing with milk and honey;

BNV : সুতরাং প্রভুর বিরুদ্ধে যেও না| ঐ দেশের লোকদের ভয় পেও না| আমরা তাদের সহজেই পরাস্ত করব| তারা আর সুরক্ষিত নয়, তা তাদের থেকে সরিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে| কিন্তু আমাদের সঙ্গে প্রভু আছেন| সুতরাং ভয় পেও না!”
KJV : Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they [are] bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD [is] with us: fear them not.
YLT : only, against Jehovah rebel not ye: and ye, fear not ye the people of the land, for our bread they [are]; their defence hath turned aside from off them, and Jehovah [is] with us; fear them not.`

ERVEN : So don't turn against the Lord! Don't be afraid of the people in that land. We can defeat them. They have no protection, nothing to keep them safe. But we have the Lord with us, so don't be afraid!"

BNV : সকলেই যখন যিহোশূয় এবং কালেবকে পাথর দিয়ে হত্যা করার কথা বলছিল, সেই সময় সমাগম তাঁবুর ওপরে তখনই প্রভুর মহিমা প্রকাশিত হল এবং সকলেই সেটা দেখতে পেল|
KJV : But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.

BNV : প্রভু মোশিকে তখনই বললেন, “এই সব লোকরা আর কতদিন আমার বিরুদ্ধাচরণ করবে? তাদের মধ্যে আমি যে সব নানা অলৌকিক কাজ করেছি তা দেখা সত্ত্বেও এরা কতদিন আমাকে অবিশ্বাস করবে?
KJV : And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?
YLT : And Jehovah saith unto Moses, `Until when doth this people despise Me? and until when do they not believe in Me, for all the signs which I have done in its midst?
RV : And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people despise me? and how long will they not believe in me, for all the signs which I have wrought among them?
RSV : And the LORD said to Moses, "How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, in spite of all the signs which I have wrought among them?

ERVEN : The Lord spoke to Moses and said, "How long will these people continue to turn against me? They show that they don't trust me or believe in my power, in spite of the many miracles I have done among them.

BNV : আমি তাদের ভয়ঙ্করভাবে অসুস্থ করে দিয়ে হত্যা করবো| আমি তাদের ধ্বংস করবো এবং তোমাকে এদের চেয়ে বড় এবং বলবান জাতিতে পরিণত করবো|”
KJV : I will smite them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of thee a greater nation and mightier than they.

BNV : তখন মোশি প্রভুকে বলল, “আপনি যদি তা করেন তবে, মিশরীয়রা সে সম্পর্কে জানতে পারবে| তারা জানে যে আপনার লোকদের মিশর থেকে বের করে আনার সময় আপনি আপনার ক্ষমতা প্রয়োগ করেছিলেন|
KJV : And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear [it,] (for thou broughtest up this people in thy might from among them;)
YLT : And Moses saith unto Jehovah, `Then have the Egyptians heard! for Thou hast brought up with Thy power this people out of their midst,

BNV : এবং মিশরের লোকরা এ সম্পর্কে কনানের লোকদের কাছেও বলবে| তারা এর মধ্যেই জেনে গেছে যে আপনিম্প প্রভু| তারা জানে যে আপনি আপনার লোকদের সঙ্গে আছেন| কারণ তারা আপনাকে দেখতে পায় এবং আপনার মেঘ তাদের উপর অবস্থিত| তারা এও জানে যে দিনের বেলায মেঘস্তম্ভে থেকে এবং রাত্রিবেলা অগ্নিস্তম্ভে থেকে তাদের আগে আগে যান|
KJV : And they will tell [it] to the inhabitants of this land: [for] they have heard that thou LORD [art] among this people, that thou LORD art seen face to face, and [that] thy cloud standeth over them, and [that] thou goest before them, by daytime in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.
YLT : and they have said [it] unto the inhabitant of this land, they have heard that Thou, Jehovah, [art] in the midst of this people, that eye to eye Thou art seen -- O Jehovah, and Thy cloud is standing over them, -- and in a pillar of cloud Thou art going before them by day, and in a pillar of fire by night.

ERVEN : The Egyptians have already told the people in Canaan about it. They already know you are the Lord. They know that you are with your people. They know that the people saw you. Those people know about the special cloud. They know you use the cloud to lead your people during the day. And they know the cloud becomes a fire to lead your people at night.

ERVEN : So you must not kill these people now. If you kill them, all the nations who have heard about your power will say,

BNV : “প্রভু এই সব লোকদের এই দেশে আনতে সক্ষম হন নি, যার সম্বন্ধে তিনি তাদের কাছে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলেন| এই কারণেই প্রভু তাদের মরুভূমিতে হত্যা করেছেন|’
KJV : Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.
YLT : From Jehovah`s want of ability to bring in this people unto the land which He hath sworn to them -- He doth slaughter them in the wilderness.
RV : Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness.

ERVEN : 'The Lord was not able to bring them into the land he promised them. So he killed them in the desert.'

BNV : “সুতরাং এখন হে প্রভু আপনি আপনার বাক্য় অনুসারে আপনার শক্তি প্রদর্শন করুন|
KJV : And now, I beseech thee, let the power of my Lord be great, according as thou hast spoken, saying,
YLT : `And now, let, I pray Thee, the power of my Lord be great, as Thou hast spoken, saying:

ERVEN : "So now, Lord, show your strength! Show it the way you said you would.

KJV : The LORD [is] longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing [the guilty,] visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation. ]
YLT : Jehovah [is] slow to anger, and of great kindness; bearing away iniquity and transgression, and not entirely acquitting, charging iniquity of fathers on sons, on a third [generation], and on a fourth; --
RV : The LORD is slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and that will by no means clear {cf15i the guilty}; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.
RSV : `The LORD is slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of fathers upon children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.'
ASV : Jehovah is slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness, forgiving iniquity and transgression; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.
ESV : 'The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.'
ERVEN : You said, 'The Lord is slow to become angry. He is full of great love. He forgives those who are guilty and break the law. But the Lord always punishes those who are guilty. He punishes them, and he also punishes their children, their grandchildren, and even their great-grandchildren for those bad things.'

BNV : তাই এখন আপনি এইসব লোকদের আপনার মহত্‌ ভালোবাসা দেখান| তাদের পাপকে ক্ষমা করে দিন| মিশক ত্যাগ করার পর থেকে এখন পর্য়ন্ত আপনি তাদের যেভাবে ক্ষমা করে এসেছেন সেই ভাবেই এখনও আপনি তাদের ক্ষমা করে দিন|”
KJV : Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
YLT : forgive, I pray Thee, the iniquity of this people, according to the greatness of Thy kindness, and as Thou hast borne with this people from Egypt, even until now.`
RV : Pardon, I pray thee, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of thy mercy, and according as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
RSV : Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray thee, according to the greatness of thy steadfast love, and according as thou hast forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now."

ERVEN : Now, show your great love to these people. Forgive their sin. Forgive them the same way you have been forgiving them since the time they left Egypt until now."

BNV : প্রভু উত্তর দিয়ে বললেন, “হ্যাঁ, তুমি যে ভাবে বলেছো, সেই ভাবেই আমি তাদের ক্ষমা করে দেবো|
KJV : And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word:
YLT : And Jehovah saith, `I have forgiven, according to thy word;

RSV : Then the LORD said, "I have pardoned, according to your word;

ERVEN : The Lord answered, "Yes, I will forgive the people as you asked.

BNV : কিন্তু আমি তোমাকে সত্য কথাই বলছি| আমি যেমন নিশ্চিতভাবেই বেঁচে আছি এবং আমার মহিমায যেমন সারা পৃথিবী নিশ্চিতভাবেই পরিপূর্ণ, তেমনি নিশ্চয়তার সঙ্গেই আমি তোমার কাছে শপথ করছি|
KJV : But [as] truly [as] I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.
YLT : and yet, I live -- and it is filled -- the whole earth -- [with] the honour of Jehovah;
RV : but in very deed, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD;
