BNV : আমাদের কি ঘটেছে তা স্মরণ করুন প্রভু| দেখুন আমরা কতটা লজ্জিত|
KJV : Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
YLT : Remember, O Jehovah, what hath befallen us, Look attentively, and see our reproach.
RV : Remember, O what is LORD, come upon us: behold, and see our reproach.
RSV : Remember, O LORD, what has befallen us; behold, and see our disgrace!

BNV : আগন্তুকরা এসে আমাদের মাতৃভূমি তছনছ করেছে| আমাদের ঘরবাড়ি বিদেশীদের দিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে|
KJV : Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
YLT : Our inheritance hath been turned to strangers, Our houses to foreigners.
RV : Our inheritance is turned unto strangers, our houses unto aliens.

BNV : আমরা অনাথ হয়েছি| আমাদের পিতা নেই| মায়েদের বিধ্বার মতো অবস্থা|
KJV : We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
YLT : Orphans we have been -- without a father, our mothers [are] as widows.

BNV : পানীয় জলও আমাদের কিনে খেতে হয়| যে কাঠ আমরা ব্যবহার করি তার জন্যও মূল্য দিতে হয়|
KJV : We have drunken our water for money; our wood is sold unto us.
YLT : Our water for money we have drunk, Our wood for a price doth come.

RSV : We must pay for the water we drink, the wood we get must be bought.

BNV : য়োযালটি কাঁধের ওপর নিতে আমরা বাধ্য হয়েছি| আমাদের কোনও বিশ্রাম নেই| আমরা ক্লান্ত, পরিশ্রান্ত|
KJV : Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
YLT : For our neck we have been pursued, We have laboured -- there hath been no rest for us.
RV : Our pursuers are upon our necks: we are weary, and have no rest.
RSV : With a yoke on our necks we are hard driven; we are weary, we are given no rest.

BNV : মিশরের সঙ্গে আমরা একটি চুক্তি করেছি| যথেষ্ট পরিমাণে রুটি পাওয়ার জন্য অশূরদের সঙ্গেও আমরা একটা চুক্তি করেছি|
KJV : We have given the hand [to] the Egyptians, [and to] the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.
YLT : [To] Egypt we have given a hand, [To] Asshur, to be satisfied with bread.
RV : We have given the hand to the Egyptians, and to the Assyrians, to be satisfied with bread.

BNV : আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষরা তোমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করেছিল| কিন্তু তারা এখন মৃত| তাদের সেই পাপের শাস্তি এখনও আমাদের ভোগ করতে হচ্ছে|
KJV : Our fathers have sinned, [and are] not; and we have borne their iniquities.
YLT : Our fathers have sinned -- they are not, We their iniquities have borne.
RV : Our fathers have sinned, and are not; and we have borne their iniquities.

BNV : দাসরাই এখন আমাদের শাসক| কেউই ওদের হাত থেকে আমাদের রক্ষা করতে পারে নি|
KJV : Servants have ruled over us: [there is] none that doth deliver [us] out of their hand.
YLT : Servants have ruled over us, A deliverer there is none from their hand.

BNV : শএুরা সিয়োনের মেয়েদের ধর্ষণ করেছে| তাদের কাছে যিহূদার কুমারী কন্যারাও আছে|
KJV : They ravished the women in Zion, [and] the maids in the cities of Judah.
YLT : Wives in Zion they have humbled, Virgins -- in cities of Judah.

BNV : এসব কারণে আমরা চোখে পরিষ্কার দেখতে পাচ্ছি না| আমাদের হৃদয়ও দুর্বল হয়ে পড়েছে|

BNV : সিয়োন পর্বত এখন এক পরিত্যক্ত জায়গা| শিয়ালের অবাধ বিচরণভূমি|
KJV : Because of the mountain of Zion, which is desolate, the foxes walk upon it.
YLT : For the mount of Zion -- that is desolate, Foxes have gone up on it.

BNV : কিন্তু প্রভু আপনি চিরকাল রাজত্ব করেন| আপনার রাজকীয় সিংহাসন যুগ যুগ ধরে অটুট থাকে|
KJV : Thou, O LORD, remainest for ever; thy throne from generation to generation.

BNV : প্রভু! মনে হচ্ছে আপনি একেবারেই আমাদের ভুলে গিয়েছেন| মনে হচ্ছে দীর্ঘ সময় আপনি আমাদের একাকী ফেলে দূরে আছেন|
KJV : Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, [and] forsake us so long time?
YLT : Why for ever dost Thou forget us? Thou forsakest us for length of days!
RV : Wherefore dost thou forget us for ever, {cf15i and} forsake us so long time?
RSV : Why dost thou forget us for ever, why dost thou so long forsake us?

BNV : প্রভু, আমাদের আপনার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিন| আমরা আনন্দের সঙ্গে ফিরে আসতে চাই আপনার কাছে| আবার আগের মতো জীবনযাপন করতে চাই|
KJV : Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
YLT : Turn us back, O Jehovah, unto Thee, And we turn back, renew our days as of old.

KJV : But thou hast utterly rejected us; thou art very wroth against us.
YLT : For hast Thou utterly rejected us? Thou hast been wroth against us -- exceedingly?
