BNV : “ইয়োব, তুমি কি দানবাকৃতি সামুদ্রিক প্রাণী লিবিয়াথনকে মাছ ধরার বঁড়শি দিয়ে ধরতে পারো? একটা দড়ি দিয়ে ওর জিভকে কি বাঁধতে পারো?
KJV : Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord [which] thou lettest down?
YLT : Dost thou draw leviathan with an angle? And with a rope thou lettest down -- his tongue?
RV : Canst thou draw out leviathan with a fish hook? or press down his tongue with a cord?
RSV : "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook, or press down his tongue with a cord?
ASV : Canst thou draw out leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord?

KJV : Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn?
YLT : Dost thou put a reed in his nose? And with a thorn pierce his jaw?

BNV : লিবিয়াথন কি তাকে মুক্তি দেওয়ার জন্য তোমার কাছে আকুতি জানাবে? সে কি ভদ্র ভাষায় তোমার সঙ্গে কথা বলবে?
KJV : Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft [words] unto thee?
YLT : Doth he multiply unto thee supplications? Doth he speak unto thee tender things?
RV : Will he make many supplications unto thee? or will he speak soft words unto thee?
RSV : Will he make many supplications to you? Will he speak to you soft words?

BNV : চির দিন তোমার সেবা করার জন্য লিবিয়াথন কি তোমার সঙ্গে কোন চুক্তি করবে?
KJV : Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever?
YLT : Doth he make a covenant with thee? Dost thou take him for a servant age-during?
RV : Will he make a covenant with thee, that thou shouldest take him for a servant for ever?
RSV : Will he make a covenant with you to take him for your servant for ever?

BNV : য়েমন করে তুমি একটি পাখির সঙ্গে খেলা কর, তেমন করে কি তুমি লিবিয়াথনের সঙ্গে খেলা করবে? তুমি কি তাকে দড়িতে বাঁধতে পারবে যাতে তোমার ছোট মেয়েরা ওর সঙ্গে খেলা করতে পারে?
KJV : Wilt thou play with him as [with] a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
YLT : Dost thou play with him as a bird? And dost thou bind him for thy damsels?
RV : Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens?
RSV : Will you play with him as with a bird, or will you put him on leash for your maidens?

BNV : ব্যবসাদাররা কি তোমার কাছ থেকে লিবিয়াথনকে কেনার চেষ্টা করবে? ওরা কি তাকে টুকরো টুকরো করে কেটে সওদাগরের কাছে বিক্রি করতে পারবে?
KJV : Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
YLT : (Feast upon him do companions, They divide him among the merchants!)
RV : Shall the bands {cf15i of fishermen} make traffic of him? shall they part him among the merchants?
RSV : Will traders bargain over him? Will they divide him up among the merchants?

BNV : তুমি কি লিবিয়াথনের চামড়ায বা মাথায় মাছ ধরবার বর্শা বা হারপূন বেঁধাতে পারো?
KJV : Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears?
YLT : Dost thou fill with barbed irons his skin? And with fish-spears his head?
RV : Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons, or his head with fish spears?
RSV : Can you fill his skin with harpoons, or his head with fishing spears?

BNV : “ইয়োব, যদি তুমি একবার লিবিয়াথনের গায়ে হাত দাও তুমি আর কখনো সে কাজ করবে না! সেই ভয়ঙ্কর যুদ্ধের কথাটা একবার ভাবো তো!
KJV : Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more.
YLT : Place on him thy hand, Remember the battle -- do not add!
RV : Lay thine hand upon him; remember the battle, and do so no more.
RSV : Lay hands on him; think of the battle; you will not do it again!

BNV : তুমি কি মনে কর তুমি লিবিয়াথনকে পরাজিত করতে পারবে? সে কথা ভুলে যাও| তার কোন আশাই নেই| ওর দিকে তাকালেই তুমি ভয়ে শিউরে উঠবে!
KJV : Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not [one] be cast down even at the sight of him?
YLT : Lo, the hope of him is found a liar, Also at his appearance is not one cast down?
RV : Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him?
RSV : Behold, the hope of a man is disappointed; he is laid low even at the sight of him.
ASV : Behold, the hope of him is in vain: Will not one be cast down even at the sight of him?

ERVEN : Do you think you can defeat him? Well, forget it! There is no hope. Just looking at him will scare you!

BNV : তাকে জাগিয়ে দিয়ে রাগিয়ে দেবার সাহস কারো নেই| “তাই, কে আমার বিরুদ্ধে দাঁড়াতে সাহস করবে?
KJV : None [is so] fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
YLT : None so fierce that he doth awake him, And who [is] he before Me stationeth himself?
RV : None is so fierce that he dare stir him up: who then is he that can stand before me?
RSV : No one is so fierce that he dares to stir him up. Who then is he that can stand before me?

ERVEN : No one is brave enough to wake him up and make him angry. "Well, no one can challenge me either!

BNV : আমাকে কারো কাছ থেকে কিছুই কিনতে হয়নি| ওগুলো সব আমারই অধিকারভুক্ত|
KJV : Who hath prevented me, that I should repay [him? whatsoever is] under the whole heaven is mine.
YLT : Who hath brought before Me and I repay? Under the whole heavens it [is] mine.

BNV : “ইয়োব, আমি তোমাকে লিবিয়াথনের পা, তার শক্তি এবং তার চেহারার কথা বলবো|
KJV : I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
YLT : I do not keep silent concerning his parts, And the matter of might, And the grace of his arrangement.
RV : I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, nor his mighty strength, nor his comely proportion.
RSV : "I will not keep silence concerning his limbs, or his mighty strength, or his goodly frame.

BNV : কেউই তার চামড়ার দাম দিতে পারে না| ওর চামড়া বর্মের মত শক্ত|
KJV : Who can discover the face of his garment? [or] who can come [to him] with his double bridle?
YLT : Who hath uncovered the face of his clothing? Within his double bridle who doth enter?
RV : Who can strip off his outer garment? who shall come within his double bridle?
RSV : Who can strip off his outer garment? Who can penetrate his double coat of mail?
ASV : Who can strip off his outer garment? Who shall come within his jaws?
ESV : Who can strip off his outer garment? Who would come near him with a bridle?
ERVEN : No one can pierce his skin. It is like armor!

BNV : কোন লোকই জোর করে লিবিয়াথনের মুখ খোলাতে পারে না| ওর মুখের দাঁত দেখলে লোকে ভয় পায়|
KJV : Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth [are] terrible round about.
YLT : The doors of his face who hath opened? Round about his teeth [are] terrible.
RV : Who can open the doors of his face? round about his teeth is terror.
RSV : Who can open the doors of his face? Round about his teeth is terror.

ERVEN : No one can force him to open his jaws. The teeth in his mouth scare people.

BNV : ওর পিঠের পেশী সারিবদ্ধ ভাবে দৃঢ়সংবদ্ধ হয়ে আছে|
KJV : [His] scales [are his] pride, shut up together [as with] a close seal.
YLT : A pride -- strong ones of shields, Shut up -- a close seal.
RV : His strong scales are {cf15i his} pride, shut up together {cf15i as with} a close seal.

BNV : বর্মগুলি এত কাছাকাছি বসানো য়ে ওগুলোর মধ্যে বাতাসও বইতে পারে না|
KJV : One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
YLT : One unto another they draw nigh, And air doth not enter between them.
RV : One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.

BNV : বর্মগুলি একে অন্যের সঙ্গে সংযুক্ত| বর্মগুলি এতই ঘন, সংবদ্ধ য়ে ওদের টেনে আলাদা করা যায় না|
KJV : They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
YLT : One unto another they adhere, They stick together and are not separated.

BNV : লিবিয়াথন যখন হাঁচি দেয় তখন আলো ঝলক দিয়ে ওঠে| ওর চোখ প্রত্যুষের আলোর মত জ্বলতে থাকে|
KJV : By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes [are] like the eyelids of the morning.
YLT : His sneezings cause light to shine, And his eyes [are] as the eyelids of the dawn.
RV : His neesings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
RSV : His sneezings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the dawn.

BNV : ওর মুখ থেকে লেলিহান অগ্নি বেরিয়ে আসে| আগুনের স্ফুলিঙ্গ ছিটকে আসে|
KJV : Out of his mouth go burning lamps, [and] sparks of fire leap out.
YLT : Out of his mouth do flames go, sparks of fire escape.
RV : Out of his mouth go burning torches, and sparks of fire leap forth.
RSV : Out of his mouth go flaming torches; sparks of fire leap forth.

BNV : ফুটন্ত কেটলির তলা দিয়ে য়েমন জ্বলন্ত ঘাসের ধোঁয়া বের হয়, লিবিয়াথনের নাক দিয়েও তেমনি ধোঁয়া বার হয়|
KJV : Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as [out] of a seething pot or caldron.
YLT : Out of his nostrils goeth forth smoke, As a blown pot and reeds.
RV : Out of his nostrils a smoke goeth, as of a seething pot and {cf15i burning} rushes.

BNV : লিবিয়াথনের নিঃশ্বাসে কযলা জ্বলে যায়, ওর মুখ থেকে আগুনের শিখা বের হয়|
KJV : His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
YLT : His breath setteth coals on fire, And a flame from his mouth goeth forth.

BNV : লিবিয়াথনের গলা ভীষণ শক্তিশালী, লোকে তাকে ভয় পায় ও ছুটে পালিয়ে যায়|
KJV : In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
YLT : In his neck lodge doth strength, And before him doth grief exult.
RV : In his neck abideth strength, and terror danceth before him.

BNV : ওর চামড়ার কোন কোমল স্থান নেই| তা য়েন লোহার মত শক্ত|
KJV : The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
YLT : The flakes of his flesh have adhered -- Firm upon him -- it is not moved.

BNV : যখন লিবিয়াথন জেগে ওঠে, দেবতারাও তখন ভয় পান| লিবিয়াথন যখন তার লেজ ঝাপটা দেয়, তখন তাঁরা সন্ত্রস্ত হন|
KJV : When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
YLT : From his rising are the mighty afraid, From breakings they keep themselves free.

BNV : তরবারি, বল্লম বা বর্শা যা দিয়েই লিবিয়াথনকে আঘাত করা হোক না কেন তা প্রতিহত হয়ে ফিরে আসে| ওই সব অস্ত্র তাকে একদম আঘাত করতে পারে না|
KJV : The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
YLT : The sword of his overtaker standeth not, Spear -- dart -- and lance.
RV : If one lay at him with the sword, it cannot avail; nor the spear, the dart, nor the pointed shaft.

BNV : লোহাকে লিবিয়াথন খড়কুটোর মত গুঁড়িযে দিতে পারে| পচা কাঠের মত সে কাঁসাকে ভেঙে দেয়|
KJV : He esteemeth iron as straw, [and] brass as rotten wood.
YLT : He reckoneth iron as straw, brass as rotten wood.
RV : He counteth iron as straw, {cf15i and} brass as rotten wood.

BNV : তীরের ভয়ে লিবিয়াথন পালিয়ে যায় না| ওর গা থেকে পাথর খড়কুটোর মতো ছিটকে চলে আসে|
KJV : The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
YLT : The son of the bow doth not cause him to flee, Turned by him into stubble are stones of the sling.
RV : The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.

BNV : যদি মুগুর দিয়ে লিবিয়াথনকে আঘাত করা হয়, তা য়েন খড়ের টুকরোর মতো তার গায়ে লাগে| লোকে যখন তার দিকে বল্লম ছোঁড়ে তখন সে হাসে|
KJV : Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
YLT : As stubble have darts been reckoned, And he laugheth at the shaking of a javelin.

BNV : লিবিয়াথনের পেটের চামড়া ধারালো খোলামকুচির মতো| সে কাদার ওপর দাগ করে দিয়ে যায়, য়েমন তক্তা দিয়ে ফসল মাড়াই করলে দাগ পড়ে- তেমন দাগ|
KJV : Sharp stones [are] under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
YLT : Under him [are] sharp points of clay, He spreadeth gold on the mire.
RV : His underparts are {cf15i like} sharp potsherds: he spreadeth {cf15i as it were} a threshing wain upon the mire.

BNV : ফুটন্ত জলের মতো লিবিয়াথন জলকে নাড়া দেয়| সে জলের ওপর ফুটন্ত তেলের বুদবুদের মতো বুদবুদ সৃষ্টি করে|
KJV : He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
YLT : He causeth to boil as a pot the deep, The sea he maketh as a pot of ointment.

BNV : যখন লিবিয়াথন সাঁতার দেয় তখন সে তার পেছনে একটি চকচকে পথরেখা রেখে যায়| সে জলকে ঝাঁকিয়ে দিয়ে যায় এবং জলকে ফেনাযিত করে|
KJV : He maketh a path to shine after him; [one] would think the deep [to be] hoary.
YLT : After him he causeth a path to shine, One thinketh the deep to be hoary.

BNV : পৃথিবীর কোন প্রাণীই লিবিয়াথনের মতো নয়| সে ভয়শূন্য প্রাণী|
KJV : Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
YLT : There is not on the earth his like, That is made without terror.
