BNV : প্রভু ইয়োবকে উত্তর দিলেন এবং বললেন:
KJV : Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,

BNV : “ইয়োব, তুমি ঈশ্বর সর্বশক্তিমানের সঙ্গে তর্ক করেছো| তুমি কি আমাকে সংশোধন করবে? য়ে ব্যক্তি ঈশ্বরের বিরুদ্ধে তর্ক করে সে তাঁর কাছে উত্তর দেবে!”
KJV : Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct [him?] he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
YLT : Is the striver with the Mighty instructed? The reprover of God, let him answer it.
RV : Shall he that cavilleth contend with the Almighty? he that argueth with God, let him answer it.
RSV : "Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it."
ASV : Shall he that cavilleth contend with the Almighty? He that argueth with God, let him answer it.
ESV : "Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it."
ERVEN : "You wanted to argue with God All-Powerful. You wanted to correct me and prove that I was wrong. So give me your answer!"

BNV : তখন ইয়োব প্রভুকে উত্তর দিয়ে বললেন:

BNV : “আমি কথা বলার যোগ্য নই; আমি আপনাকে কি বা বলতে পারি? আমার মুখ হাত দিয়ে চাপা দিলাম|
KJV : Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
YLT : Lo, I have been vile, What do I return to Thee? My hand I have placed on my mouth.
RV : Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer thee? I lay mine hand upon my mouth.
RSV : "Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer thee? I lay my hand on my mouth.

ERVEN : "I am not worthy to speak! What can I say to you? I cannot answer you! I will put my hand over my mouth.

BNV : আমার যা বলা উচিত্‌ ছিল আমি ইতিমধ্যেই তার চেয়ে অনেক বেশী বলে ফেলেছি| আমি আর কিছু বলব না|”
KJV : Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
YLT : Once I have spoken, and I answer not, And twice, and I add not.

BNV : তখন ঝড়ের ভেতর থেকে প্রভু আবার কথা বললেন| তিনি বললেন:
KJV : Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

BNV : “ইয়োব, নিজেকে প্রস্তুত কর এবং আমি য়ে প্রশ্ন করবো তার উত্তর দেওয়ার জন্য তৈরী হও|
KJV : Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
YLT : Gird, I pray thee, as a man, thy loins, I ask thee, and cause thou Me to know.
RV : Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
RSV : "Gird up your loins like a man; I will question you, and you declare to me.

ERVEN : "Brace yourself and get ready to answer the questions I will ask you.

BNV : “ইয়োব, তুমি কি এখনও আমার সিদ্ধান্ত নাকচ করবার চেষ্টা করবে? তুমি নিজের সততা প্রতি পালন করবার জন্য আমাকে মন্দ কাজের দরুণ দোষী বলে ঘোষণা করেছ|
KJV : Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
YLT : Dost thou also make void My judgment? Dost thou condemn Me, That thou mayest be righteous?
RV : Wilt thou even disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?
RSV : Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be justified?
ASV : Wilt thou even annul my judgment? Wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?
ESV : Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be in the right?
ERVEN : "Are you trying to show that I am unfair? Are you trying to look innocent by saying that I am guilty?

BNV : তোমার বাহু কি ঈশ্বরের বাহুর মতো শক্তিশালী? তোমার কি ঈশ্বরের মত বজ্রগম্ভীর কণ্ঠস্বর আছে?
KJV : Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
YLT : And an arm like God hast thou? And with a voice like Him dost thou thunder?
RV : Or hast thou an arm like God? and canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
RSV : Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?
ASV : Or hast thou an arm like God? And canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
ESV : Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?
ERVEN : Are your arms as strong as mine? Do you have a voice like mine that is as loud as thunder?

BNV : যদি তুমি ঈশ্বরের মত হও তুমি গর্ব করতে পারো| যদি তুমি ঈশ্বরের মত হও তবে মহিমা এবং সম্মান তোমাকে বস্ত্রের মত জড়িয়ে থাকবে|
KJV : Deck thyself now [with] majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
YLT : Put on, I pray thee, excellency and loftiness, Yea, honour and beauty put on.
RV : Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; and array thyself with honour and majesty.
RSV : "Deck yourself with majesty and dignity; clothe yourself with glory and splendor.
ASV : Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; And array thyself with honor and majesty.
ESV : "Adorn yourself with majesty and dignity; clothe yourself with glory and splendor.
ERVEN : If so, you can be proud and wear glory and honor like clothes.

BNV : যদি তুমি ঈশ্বরের মত হও তুমি ক্রোধ প্রদর্শন করে অহঙ্কারী লোকেদের শাস্তি দিতে পারো| ওই অহঙ্কারীদের নম্র করে তুলতে পারো|
KJV : Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one [that is] proud, and abase him.
YLT : Scatter abroad the wrath of thine anger, And see every proud one, and make him low.
RV : Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger: and look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.
RSV : Pour forth the overflowings of your anger, and look on every one that is proud, and abase him.

ERVEN : If you are as powerful as God, then show your anger! Punish those who are proud and humble them.

BNV : হ্যাঁ, ইয়োব, ওই অহঙ্কারী লোকদের দেখ এবং ওদের নম্র করে তোল| মন্দ লোকরা যেখানে দাঁড়ায়, ওদের গুঁড়িযে দাও|
KJV : Look on every one [that is] proud, [and] bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
YLT : See every proud one -- humble him, And tread down the wicked in their place.

BNV : সব অহঙ্কারী লোকদের কবর দাও| ওদের দেহ আবৃত করে ওদের কবরে পাঠিয়ে দাও|
KJV : Hide them in the dust together; [and] bind their faces in secret.
YLT : Hide them in the dust together, Their faces bind in secret.
RV : Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in the hidden {cf15i place}.
RSV : Hide them all in the dust together; bind their faces in the world below.

BNV : ইয়োব, যদি তুমি এই সব করতে পারো, তাহলে আমিও তোমার প্রশংসা করবো| এই আমি স্বীকার করবো য়ে তোমার নিজের শক্তিতেই তুমি নিজেকে রক্ষা করতে পারবে|
KJV : Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
YLT : And even I -- I do praise thee, For thy right hand giveth salvation to thee.
RV : Then wilt I also confess of thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
RSV : Then will I also acknowledge to you, that your own right hand can give you victory.
ASV : Then will I also confess of thee That thine own right hand can save thee.

ERVEN : If you can do any of these things, then even I will praise you. And I will admit that you can save yourself by your own power.

BNV : “ইয়োব, বহেমোতেরদিকে দেখ| আমি বহেমোত্‌ এবং তোমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছি| বহেমোত্‌ গরুর মত ঘাস খায়|
KJV : Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
YLT : Lo, I pray thee, Behemoth, that I made with thee: Grass as an ox he eateth.
RV : Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as all ox.
RSV : "Behold, Behemoth, which I made as I made you; he eats grass like an ox.

BNV : বহেমোতের গায়ে প্রচুর শক্তি আছে| ওর পাকস্থলীর পেশীগুলি প্রচণ্ড শক্তিশালী|
KJV : Lo now, his strength [is] in his loins, and his force [is] in the navel of his belly.
YLT : Lo, I pray thee, his power [is] in his loins, And his strength in the muscles of his belly.
RV : Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the muscles of his belly.
RSV : Behold, his strength in his loins, and his power in the muscles of his belly.

ERVEN : But he has great strength in his body. The muscles in his stomach are powerful.

BNV : বহেমোতের লেজ এরস গাছের মতই শক্ত| ওর পায়ের পেশীগুলিও খুব শক্ত|
KJV : He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
YLT : He doth bend his tail as a cedar, The sinews of his thighs are wrapped together,
RV : He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his thighs are knit together.
RSV : He makes his tail stiff like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together.

ERVEN : His tail stands strong like a cedar tree. His leg muscles are very strong.

BNV : ওদের হাড়গুলো কাঁসার মতই শক্ত| ওর হাত পাগুলো লোহার দণ্ডের মত|
KJV : His bones [are as] strong pieces of brass; his bones [are] like bars of iron.
YLT : His bones [are] tubes of brass, His bones [are] as a bar of iron.
RV : His bones are as tubes of brass; his limbs are like bars of iron.
RSV : His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like bars of iron.

BNV : বিস্ময় সৃষ্টিকারী প্রাণীদের মধ্যে আমি বহেমোতকে সৃষ্টি করেছি| কিন্তু আমি তাকে পরাজিতও করতে পারি|
KJV : He [is] the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach [unto him. ]
YLT : He [is] a beginning of the ways of God, His Maker bringeth nigh his sword;
RV : He is the chief of the ways of God: he {cf15i only} that made him can make his sword to approach {cf15i unto him}.
RSV : "He is the first of the works of God; let him who made him bring near his sword!

KJV : Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.

BNV : সে পদ্ম বনের নীচে ঘুমিয়ে থাকে| জলাভূমির নলখাগড়ার ভিতর সে নিজেকে লুকিয়ে রাখে|
KJV : He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
YLT : Under shades he lieth down, In a secret place of reed and mire.
RV : He lieth under the lotus trees, in the covert of the reed, and the fen.
RSV : Under the lotus plants he lies, in the covert of the reeds and in the marsh.

KJV : The shady trees cover him [with] their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
YLT : Cover him do shades, [with] their shadow, Cover him do willows of the brook.

BNV : নদীতে বন্যা এলেও বহেমোত্‌ পালিয়ে যায় না| যদি য়?র্ন নদী ওর মুখে উচ্ছ্বাসিত হয়ে ভেঙ্গে পড়ে, তবু বহেমোত্‌ তাতে ভয় পায় না|
KJV : Behold, he drinketh up a river, [and] hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
YLT : Lo, a flood oppresseth -- he doth not haste, He is confident though Jordan Doth come forth unto his mouth.
RV : Behold, if a river overflow, he trembleth not: he is confident, though Jordan swell even to his mouth.

BNV : ওর চোখকে কেউ অন্ধ করতে পারে না বা ফাঁদ পেতে ওকে ধরতেও পারে না|
KJV : He taketh it with his eyes: [his] nose pierceth through snares.
YLT : Before his eyes doth [one] take him, With snares doth [one] pierce the nose?
RV : Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
RSV : Can one take him with hooks, or pierce his nose with a snare?
ASV : Shall any take him when he is on the watch, Or pierce through his nose with a snare?
ESV : Can one take him by his eyes, or pierce his nose with a snare?
ERVEN : No one can blind his eyes and capture him. No one can catch him in a trap.
