কিন্তু সেই স্ত্রীলোক, তার স্বামী বেঁচে থাকতে যদি অপর পুরুষকে বিবাহ করে, সে ব্যভিচার করে৷ তার স্বামী যদি মারা যায়, তাহলে সে বিয়ের বিধি-ব্যবস্থা থেকে মুক্ত হয়ে যায়; আর তখন সে যদি অন্য পুরুষকে বিয়ে করে তাহলে সে ব্যভিচারের দোষে দোষী হয় না৷

So then if, while [her] husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
