তিনি তাদের কাছে একটি দৃষ্টান্ত দিয়ে বললেন, ‘নতুন জামা থেকে একটি টুকরো ছিঁড়ে নিয়ে কেউ কি পুরানো জামায় তালি দেয়? যদি কেউ তা করে তবে সে তার নতুন জামাটি ছিঁড়ল, আবার সেই ছেঁড়া কাপড়ের টুকরো পুরানোর সঙ্গে মানাবে না৷

And he spake also a parable unto them; {SCJ}No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was [taken] out of the new agreeth not with the old. {SCJ.}
