কিন্তু য়ে তার মনিব কি চায় তা জানে না, এই না জানার দরুন এমন কাজ করে ফেলেছে যার জন্য তার শাস্তি হওযা উচিত্, সেই দাসের কম শাস্তি হবে৷ যাকে বেশী দেওযা হয়েছে, তার কাছ থেকে বেশী পাবার আশা করা হবে৷ যার ওপর বেশী দাযিত্ব দেওযা হয়েছে, লোকেরা তার কাছ থেকে অধিক চাইবে৷’

{SCJ}But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few [stripes.] For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. {SCJ.}
