BNV ‘তবু তোমাদের বিরুদ্ধে আমার কয়েকটি কথা বলার আছে৷ তোমাদের মধ্যে এমন কিছু লোককে তুমি সহ্য করেছ যাঁরা বিলিয়মের শিক্ষা অনুসারে চলে৷ ইস্রায়েলকে কি করে পাপে ফেলা যায় তা বিলিয়ম শিখিয়েছিল৷ সেই লোকরা প্রতিমার সামনে উত্‌সর্গ করা খাদ্য় খেয়ে ও ব্যভিচার করে পাপ করেছিল৷
KJV {SCJ}But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. {SCJ.}
YLT `But I have against thee a few things: That thou hast there those holding the teaching of Balaam, who did teach Balak to cast a stumbling-block before the sons of Israel, to eat idol-sacrifices, and to commit whoredom;

ERVEN "But I have a few things against you. You have people there who follow the teaching of Balaam. Balaam taught Balak how to make the people of Israel sin. They sinned by eating food offered to idols and by committing sexual sins.
