அப்பொழுது கர்த்தரிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட ஒரு காற்று சமுத்திரத்திலிருந்து காடைகளை அடித்துக்கொண்டுவந்து, பாளயத்திலும் பாளயத்தைச் சுற்றிலும், இந்தப்பக்கம் ஒரு நாள் பிரயாணமட்டும், அந்தப்பக்கம் ஒரு நாள் பிராயணமட்டும், தரையின்மேல் இரண்டு முழ உயரம் விழுந்துகிடக்கச் செய்தது.

And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let [them] fall by the camp, as it were a day’s journey on this side, and as it were a day’s journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits [high] upon the face of the earth.
