BNV তিনি দেখলেন য়ে শিষ্যরা বাতাসের বিরুদ্ধে খুব কষ্টের সঙ্গে দাঁড় টেনে চলেছেন৷ খুব ভোর বেলা প্রায় তিনটে ও ছটার মধ্যে তিনি হ্রদের জলের উপর দিয়ে হেঁটে তাদের কাছে এলেন৷ তিনি তাঁদের পাশ কাটিয়ে এগিয়ে য়েতে চাইলেন৷
KJV And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.
YLT and he saw them harassed in the rowing, for the wind was against them, and about the fourth watch of the night he doth come to them walking on the sea, and wished to pass by them.

ERVEN He saw the boat far away on the lake. And he saw the followers working hard to row the boat. The wind was blowing against them. Sometime between three and six o'clock in the morning, Jesus went out to the boat, walking on the water. He continued walking until he was almost past the boat.
