ମାତ୍ର ରବଶାକି କହିଲା, " ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ କ'ଣ ମାେତେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପୁତ୍ରଙ୍କୁ କହିବା ପାଇଁ ପଠାଇଛନ୍ତି ? ସେ କ'ଣ ମାେତେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ବିଷ୍ଠା ଖାଉଛନ୍ତି ଓ ମୂତ୍ର ପାନ କରୁଛନ୍ତି, ସମାନଙ୍କେ ନିକଟକୁ ପଠାଇ ନାହାଁନ୍ତି ?'

But Rabshakeh said, Hath my master sent me to thy master and to thee to speak these words? [hath he] not [sent me] to the men that sit upon the wall, that they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you?

And Rabshakeh saith, `Unto thy lord, and unto thee, hath my lord sent me to speak these words? is it not for the men -- those sitting on the wall to eat their own dung and to drink their own water with you?`
