ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ನೀರಿನ ತಿತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹಾಗರಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಗಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿ ಆ ಹುಡುಗನ ಸಂಗಡ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆಕೆಯು ಹೋಗಿ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವವ ಳಾದಳು.

ಮರುದಿನ ಮುಂಜಾನೆ, ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ನೀರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಗರಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಹಾಗರಳು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನೊಡನೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದಳು. ಹಾಗರಳು ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದ ಮರಳುಗಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆಯತೊಡಗಿದಳು.

તેથી બીજે દિવસે વહેલી સવારે ઇબ્રાહિમે રોટલા અને પાણીના મશક લઈને હાગારને આપ્યાં અને છોકરાંને ખભે ચઢાવીને તેને વિદાય કરી. તે ચાલી ગઈ અને બેર-શેબાના રણમાં ભટકવા લાગી.
