ಯಾಜಕನು ಜನರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದನು. ಅವರು ಸಿಪಾಯಿಗಳ ದ್ವಾರದ ಮೂಲಕ ಅರಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ರಾಜನ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಂಗರಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸೇನಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ರಾಜನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋದರು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಇತರ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ರಾಜನ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಹೋದರು. ನಂತರ ರಾಜನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವಾಷನು ಸಿಂಹಾಸನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡನು. 20ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಹಳ ಹರ್ಷಗೊಂಡರು. ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಿತ್ತು. ರಾಜನ ಅರಮನೆಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ರಾಣಿಯಾದ ಅತಲ್ಯಳನ್ನು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದ ಕೊಂದಿದ್ದರು. 21ಯೆಹೋವಾಷನು ರಾಜನಾದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಾಗಿತ್ತು.

પછી રાજાના અને મહેલના રક્ષકદળના નાયકોને તથા દેશના બધા લોકોને સાથે લઈ રાજાને યહોવાના મંદિરમાંથી રક્ષકોને દરવાજે થઈને રાજમહેલમાં પહોંચાડી દીધો. યોઆશે રાજ સિંહાસન પર આસન લીધું.
