ದಾವೀದನು ರಬ್ಬದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಮರಕಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೊಡಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾರೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು. ಇದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದಾವೀದನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ನಂತರ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೆರುಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದನು.
