BNV : তখন যীশু দৃষ্টান্ত দিয়ে তাদের কাছে বলতে লাগলেন, ‘একটি লোক দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেতের চারদিকে বেড়া দিলেন৷ তিনি দ্রাক্ষা মাড়াই করতে একটি গর্ত খুঁড়লেন, একটি উঁচু ঘর তৈরী করলেন এবং সেই ক্ষেত চাষীদের কাছে জমা দিয়ে অন্য দেশে চলে গেলেন৷
KJV : And he began to speak unto them by parables. {SCJ}A [certain] man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about [it,] and digged [a place for] the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country. {SCJ.}
YLT : And he began to speak to them in similes: `A man planted a vineyard, and put a hedge around, and digged an under-winevat, and built a tower, and gave it out to husbandmen, and went abroad;

ESV : And he began to speak to them in parables. "A man planted a vineyard and put a fence around it and dug a pit for the winepress and built a tower, and leased it to tenants and went into another country.
ERVEN : Jesus used stories to teach the people. He said, "A man planted a vineyard. He put a wall around the field and dug a hole for a winepress. Then he built a tower. He leased the land to some farmers and left for a trip.

BNV : এরপর চাষীদের কাছে ফলের পাওনা অংশ পাবার জন্য তাদের কাছে ঠিক সময়ে তাঁর চাকরকে পাঠিয়ে দিলেন৷
KJV : {SCJ}And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard. {SCJ.}
YLT : and he sent unto the husbandmen at the due time a servant, that from the husbandmen he may receive from the fruit of the vineyard,

BNV : কিন্তু চাষীরা তাকে মারধর করে খালি হাতে ফিরিয়ে দিল৷
KJV : {SCJ}And they caught [him,] and beat him, and sent [him] away empty. {SCJ.}
YLT : and they, having taken him, did severely beat [him], and did send him away empty.

BNV : তিনি আর একজন চাকরকে তাদের কাছে পাঠালেন, তারা তার মাথায় আঘাত করল,
KJV : {SCJ}And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded [him] in the head, and sent [him] away shamefully handled. {SCJ.}
YLT : `And again he sent unto them another servant, and at that one having cast stones, they wounded [him] in the head, and sent away -- dishonoured.

ERVEN : Then the man sent another servant to the farmers. They hit this servant on the head, showing no respect for him.

BNV : এবং তাকে অপমান করল৷ তখন তিনি আর একজন চাকরকে পাঠালেন, তারা তাকে মেরে ফেলল৷ এইভাবে তিনি আরো অনেককে পাঠালেন৷ তারা তাদের মধ্যে কয়েকজনকে মারধোর করল এবং কয়েকজনকে মেরেই ফেলল৷
KJV : {SCJ}And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some. {SCJ.}
YLT : `And again he sent another, and that one they killed; and many others, some beating, and some killing.

BNV : তাঁর একমাত্র প্রিয় পুত্র ছিল৷ তিনি শেষ পর্যন্ত তাঁকেই পাঠালেন, ভাবলেন তারা নিশ্চয়ই তাঁর পুত্রকে সম্মান করবে৷
KJV : {SCJ}Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son. {SCJ.}
YLT : `Having yet therefore one son -- his beloved -- he sent also him unto them last, saying -- They will reverence my son;

ERVEN : "The man had only one person left to send to the farmers. It was his son. He loved his son, but he decided to send him. He said, 'The farmers will respect my son.'

BNV : চাষীরা তখন নিজেদের মধ্যে বলাবলি করল, ‘এই তো মালিকের ছেলে, ওর বাবা মরলে ক্ষেতের মালিক তো ওই হবে, এস! একে মেরে ফেল, তাহলে আমরা ক্ষেতের মালিক হব৷
KJV : {SCJ}But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours. {SCJ.}
YLT : and those husbandmen said among themselves -- This is the heir, come, we may kill him, and ours shall be the inheritance;
RV : But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.

BNV : তখন তারা তাকে মেরেই ফেলল ও তার মৃতদেহটি দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেতের বাইরে ফেলে দিল৷

BNV : তখন সেই দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেতের মালিক কি করবেন? তিনি এসে চাষীদের মেরে ফেলবেন এবং সেই দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেতটি অন্যদের দিয়ে দেবেন৷
KJV : {SCJ}What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. {SCJ.}
YLT : `What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard to others.

BNV : শাস্ত্রের এই কথা কি তোমরা পড় নি, ‘য়ে পাথর রাজমিস্ত্রিরা বাতিল করেছিল সেটিই হয়ে উঠল কোণের প্রধান পাথর?
KJV : {SCJ}And have ye not read this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner: {SCJ.}
YLT : And this Writing did ye not read: A stone that the builders rejected, it did become the head of a corner:
RV : Have ye not read even this scripture; The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner:
RSV : Have you not read this scripture: `The very stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner;

KJV : {SCJ}This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes? {SCJ.}
YLT : from the Lord was this, and it is wonderful in our eyes.`

BNV : তখন তারা তাঁকে গ্রেপ্তার করার চেষ্টা করতে লাগল, কিন্তু লোকদের ভয় পেল, কারণ তারা জানত য়ে দৃষ্টান্তটি তিনি তাদের উদ্দেশ্যেই বলেছেন, তাই তারা তাঁকে ছেড়ে চলে গেল৷
KJV : And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
YLT : And they were seeking to lay hold on him, and they feared the multitude, for they knew that against them he spake the simile, and having left him, they went away;

ERVEN : When the Jewish leaders heard this story, they knew it was about them. They wanted to find a way to arrest Jesus, but they were afraid of the crowd. So they left him and went away.

BNV : পরে ইহুদী নেতারা কয়েকজন ফরীশী এবং হেরোদীয়কে তাঁর কাছে পাঠিয়ে দিল, যাতে তারা যীশুকে কথার ফাঁদে ফেলতে পারে৷
KJV : And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in [his] words.
YLT : and they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, that they may ensnare him in discourse,
RV : And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, that they might catch him in talk.
RSV : And they sent to him some of the Pharisees and some of the Herodians, to entrap him in his talk.

ERVEN : Later, the Jewish leaders sent some Pharisees and some men from the group called Herodians to Jesus. They wanted to catch him saying something wrong.

BNV : তারা এসে তাঁকে বলল, ‘হে গুরু, আমরা জানি আপনিই সত্, এবং আপনি কোন লোককে ভয় করেন না৷ আপনি ঈশ্বরের পথের বিষয়ে সত্য শিক্ষা দেন৷ আচ্ছা, কৈসর সরকারকে কর দেওযা কি উচিত? আমরা দেব, কি দেব না?’
KJV : And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
YLT : and they having come, say to him, `Teacher, we have known that thou art true, and thou art not caring for any one, for thou dost not look to the face of men, but in truth the way of God dost teach; is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not? may we give, or may we not give?`
RV : And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest not for any one: for thou regardest not the person of men, but of a truth teachest the way of God: Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
RSV : And they came and said to him, "Teacher, we know that you are true, and care for no man; for you do not regard the position of men, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?
ASV : And when they were come, they say unto him, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and carest not for any one; for thou regardest not the person of men, but of a truth teachest the way of God: Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
ESV : And they came and said to him, "Teacher, we know that you are true and do not care about anyone's opinion. For you are not swayed by appearances, but truly teach the way of God. Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not? Should we pay them, or should we not?"
ERVEN : They went to Jesus and said, "Teacher, we know that you are an honest man. You are not afraid of what others think about you. All people are the same to you. And you teach the truth about God's way. Tell us, is it right to pay taxes to Caesar? Should we pay them or not?"

BNV : তিনি তাদের ভণ্ডামি বুঝতে পেরে বললেন, ‘তোমরা আমায় কেন পরীক্ষা করছ? আমাকে একটি দীনার এনে দেখাও৷’
KJV : Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, {SCJ}Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see [it. ]{SCJ.}
YLT : And he, knowing their hypocrisy, said to them, `Why me do ye tempt? bring me a denary, that I may see;`
RV : Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it.
RSV : Should we pay them, or should we not?" But knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them, "Why put me to the test? Bring me a coin, and let me look at it."
ASV : Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why make ye trial of me? bring me a denarius, that I may see it.
ESV : But, knowing their hypocrisy, he said to them, "Why put me to the test? Bring me a denarius and let me look at it."
ERVEN : But Jesus knew that these men were really trying to trick him. He said, "Why are you trying to catch me saying something wrong? Bring me a silver coin. Let me see it."

BNV : তারা তাঁকে দীনার এনে দিলে তিনি তাদের বললেন, ‘এই মুখ এবং এই নাম কার?’ তারা তাঁকে বলল, ‘কৈসরের প্রতিমূর্তি, কৈসরের নাম৷’
KJV : And they brought [it.] And he saith unto them, {SCJ}Whose [is] this image and superscription?{SCJ.} And they said unto him, Caesar’s.
YLT : and they brought, and he saith to them, `Whose [is] this image, and the inscription?` and they said to him, `Caesar`s;`
RV : And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar-s.
RSV : And they brought one. And he said to them, "Whose likeness and inscription is this?" They said to him, "Caesar's."
ASV : And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesars.
ESV : And they brought one. And he said to them, "Whose likeness and inscription is this?" They said to him, "Caesar's."
ERVEN : They gave Jesus a coin and he asked, "Whose picture is on the coin? And whose name is written on it?" They answered, "It is Caesar's picture and Caesar's name."

BNV : তখন যীশু তাদের বললেন, ‘কৈসরের যা তা কৈসরকে দাও৷ আর ঈশ্বরের যা তা ঈশ্বরকে দাও৷’ তখন তারা তাঁর কথা শুনে বিস্ময়ে হতবাক্ হয়ে গেল৷
KJV : And Jesus answering said unto them, {SCJ}Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.{SCJ.} And they marvelled at him.
YLT : and Jesus answering said to them, `Give back the things of Caesar to Caesar, and the things of God to God;` and they did wonder at him.
RV : And Jesus said unto them, Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar-s, and unto God the things that are God-s. And they marveled greatly at him.
RSV : Jesus said to them, "Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's." And they were amazed at him.

ERVEN : Then Jesus said to them, "Give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God." The men were amazed at what Jesus said.

BNV : পরে কয়েকজন সদ্দূকী তাঁর কাছে এল যাঁরা বলত পুনরুত্থান বলে কিছু নেই৷ তারা তাঁকে জিজ্ঞেস করল,
KJV : Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying,
YLT : And the Sadducees come unto him, who say there is not a rising again, and they questioned him, saying,

ERVEN : Then some Sadducees came to Jesus. (Sadducees believe that no one will rise from death.) They asked him a question:

BNV : ‘গুরু, মোশি আমাদের জন্য লিখেছেন, কারও ভাই যদি স্ত্রী রেখে মারা যায়, আর সে যদি কোন ছেলেমেয়ে না রেখে যায় তবে তার ভাই য়েন ঐ বিধবাকে বিয়ে করে নিজের ভাইয়ের বংশ রক্ষা করে৷
KJV : Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man’s brother die, and leave [his] wife [behind him,] and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
YLT : `Teacher, Moses wrote to us, that if any one`s brother may die, and may leave a wife, and may leave no children, that his brother may take his wife, and raise up seed to his brother.
RV : Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man-s brother die, and leave a wife behind him, and leave no child, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
RSV : "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife, but leaves no child, the man must take the wife, and raise up children for his brother.
ASV : Teacher, Moses wrote unto us, If a mans brother die, and leave a wife behind him, and leave no child, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.
ESV : "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man's brother dies and leaves a wife, but leaves no child, the man must take the widow and raise up offspring for his brother.
ERVEN : "Teacher, Moses wrote that if a married man dies and had no children, his brother must marry the woman. Then they will have children for the dead brother.

BNV : সাত ভাই ছিল, প্রথম জন একজন স্ত্রীলোককে বিয়ে করল আর সে ছেলেমেয়ে না রেখে মারা গেল৷
KJV : Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.
YLT : `There were then seven brothers, and the first took a wife, and dying, he left no seed;
RV : There were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed;
RSV : There were seven brothers; the first took a wife, and when he died left no children;

ERVEN : There were seven brothers. The first brother married but died. He had no children.

BNV : পরে দ্বিতীয় জন তাকে বিয়ে করল; কিন্তু সেও ছেলেমেয়ে না রেখে মারা গেল৷ তৃতীয় ভাই আগের ভাইয়ের মত বিয়ে করে ছেলেমেয়ে না রেখে মার গেল৷
KJV : And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise.
YLT : and the second took her, and died, neither left he seed, and the third in like manner,
RV : and the second took her, and died, leaving no seed behind him; and the third likewise:

ERVEN : So the second brother married the woman. But he also died and had no children. The same thing happened with the third brother.

BNV : এই সাত ভাইয়ের কেউই কোন ছেলেমেয়ে রেখে যায় নি৷ সবশেষে সেই স্ত্রীলোকটিও মারা গেল৷
KJV : And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also.
YLT : and the seven took her, and left no seed, last of all died also the woman;
RV : and the seven left no seed. Last of all the woman also died.
RSV : and the seven left no children. Last of all the woman also died.

ERVEN : All seven brothers married the woman and died. None of the brothers had any children with her. And she was the last to die.

BNV : মৃত্যুর পরে যখন তারা বেঁচে উঠবে, সে তাদের মধ্যে কার স্ত্রী হবে? কারণ তারা সাতজনই তো তাকে বিয়ে করেছিল৷’
KJV : In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife.
YLT : in the rising again, then, whenever they may rise, of which of them shall she be wife -- for the seven had her as wife?`

BNV : যীশু তাদের বললেন, ‘তোমরা কেন এই ভুলের মধ্যে রয়েছ? তোমরা না জান শাস্ত্র, না জান ঈশ্বরের শক্তির কথা৷
KJV : And Jesus answering said unto them, {SCJ}Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? {SCJ.}
YLT : And Jesus answering said to them, `Do ye not because of this go astray, not knowing the Writings, nor the power of God?
RV : Jesus said unto them, Is it not for this cause that ye err, that ye know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?
RSV : Jesus said to them, "Is not this why you are wrong, that you know neither the scriptures nor the power of God?

ERVEN : Jesus answered, "How could you be so wrong? It's because you don't know what the Scriptures say. And you don't know anything about God's power.
