BNV : “প্রভু, আমি জানি আপনি সব কিছু করতে পারেন| আপনি পরিকল্পনা করেন, কোন কিছুই আপনার পরিকল্পনাকে পরিবর্তিত করতে বা রোধ করতে পারে না|
KJV : I know that thou canst do every [thing,] and [that] no thought can be withholden from thee.
YLT : Thou hast known that [for] all things Thou art able, And not withheld from Thee is [any] device:
RV : I know that thou canst do all things, and that no purpose of thine can be restrained.
RSV : "I know that thou canst do all things, and that no purpose of thine can be thwarted.

BNV : প্রভু, আপনি এই প্রশ্ন করেছেন: ‘কে সেই অজ্ঞ লোক য়ে এমন বোকা বোকা কথা বলছে?’ প্রভু, আমি যা বুঝি নি আমি তা বলেছি| আমি সেই সব বিষয়ের কথা বলেছি য়েগুলো বুঝতে গেলে আমি বিস্ময়-বিহবল হয়ে যাই|
KJV : Who [is] he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
YLT : `Who [is] this, hiding counsel without knowledge?` Therefore, I have declared, and understand not, Too wonderful for me, and I know not.
RV : Who is this that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that which I understood not, things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
RSV : `Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?' Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.

ERVEN : You asked, 'Who is this ignorant person saying these foolish things?' I talked about things I did not understand. I talked about things too amazing for me to know.

BNV : “প্রভু, আপনি আমায় বলেছেন, ‘শোন ইয়োব, এখন আমি বলবো| আমি তোমাকে প্রশ্ন জিজ্ঞাসা করবো এবং তুমি আমাকে তার উত্তর দেবে|’
KJV : Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
YLT : `Hear, I pray thee, and I -- I do speak, I ask thee, and cause thou me to know.`
RV : Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak; I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

BNV : প্রভু, অতীতে আমি আপনার সম্বন্ধে শুনেছিলাম, কিন্তু এখন আমার নিজের চোখে আমি আপনাকে দেখলাম|
KJV : I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
YLT : By the hearing of the ear I heard Thee, And now mine eye hath seen Thee.

BNV : তাই, আমার জন্য আমি লজ্জিত| আমি ছাই ও ধূলার মধ্যে দুঃখের সঙ্গে আমার অপরাধ স্বীকার করছি|”
KJV : Wherefore I abhor [myself,] and repent in dust and ashes.
YLT : Therefore do I loathe [it], And I have repented on dust and ashes.
RV : Wherefore I abhor {cf15i myself}, and repent in dust and ashes.
RSV : therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes."

ERVEN : And I am ashamed of myself. I am so sorry. As I sit in the dust and ashes, I promise to change my heart and my life."

BNV : ইয়োবের সঙ্গে কথা শেষ করার পর, প্রভু তৈমন থেকে আসা ইলীফসের সঙ্গে কথা বললেন| প্রভু ইলীফসকে বললেন, “আমি তোমার প্রতি ও তোমার দুই বন্ধুর প্রতি রুদ্ধ হয়েছি| কেন? কারণ তোমরা আমার সম্পর্কে সঠিক কথা বলো নি| কিন্তু ইয়োব আমার সেবক এবং ইয়োব আমার সম্পর্কে সঠিক কথা বলেছে|
KJV : And it was [so,] that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me [the thing that is] right, as my servant Job [hath. ]
YLT : And it cometh to pass after Jehovah`s speaking these words unto Job, that Jehovah saith unto Eliphaz the Temanite, `Burned hath Mine anger against thee, and against thy two friends, because ye have not spoken concerning Me rightly, like My servant Job.
RV : And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
RSV : After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite: "My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends; for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.
ASV : And it was so, that, after Jehovah had spoken these words unto Job, Jehovah said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends; for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.
ESV : After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite: "My anger burns against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.
ERVEN : After the Lord finished talking to Job, he spoke to Eliphaz from Teman. He said, "I am angry with you and your two friends, because you did not tell the truth about me, as my servant Job did.

BNV : তাই ইলীফস, এখন তুমি সাতটা বলদ ও সাতটা ভেড়া নাও| আমার সেবক ইয়োবের কাছে তা নিয়ে যাও| ওদের হত্যা কর এবং তোমাদের জন্য হোমবলি হিসেবে উত্সর্গ কর| আমার সেবক ইয়োব তোমাদের জন্য প্রার্থনা করবে এবং আমি তার প্রার্থনার উত্তর দেবো| তাহলে তোমাদের যা শাস্তি প্রাপ্য তা আমি দেব না| তোমাদের শাস্তি পাওয়া উচিত্‌ কারণ তোমরা ভীষণ নির্বোধ| তোমরা আমার সম্পর্কে সঠিক কথা বলনি| কিন্তু আমার সেবক ইয়োব আমার সম্পর্কে সঠিক কথা বলেছে|”
KJV : Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you [after your] folly, in that ye have not spoken of me [the thing which is] right, like my servant Job.
YLT : And now, take to you seven bullocks and seven rams, and go ye unto My servant Job, and ye have caused a burnt-offering to ascend for you; and Job My servant doth pray for you, for surely his face I accept, so as not to do with you folly, because ye have not spoken concerning Me rightly, like My servant Job.
RV : Now therefore, take unto you seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you; for him will I accept, that I deal not with you after your folly; for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

ERVEN : So now, Eliphaz, get seven bulls and seven rams. Take them to my servant Job. Kill them and offer them as a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will answer his prayer. Then I will not give you the punishment you deserve. You should be punished, because you were very foolish. You did not say what is right about me, as my servant Job did."

BNV : তখন তৈমনীয় ইলীফস, শূহীয় বিল্দদ এবং নামাথীয় সোফর প্রভুর আদেশ পালন করলেন এবং তারপর ইয়োব তাঁদের জন্য য়ে প্রার্থনা করেছিলেন, প্রভু তার উত্তর দিলেন|
KJV : So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite [and] Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.
YLT : And they go -- Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, Zophar the Naamathite -- and do as Jehovah hath spoken unto them; and Jehovah doth accept the face of Job.
RV : So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: and the LORD accepted Job.
RSV : So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what the LORD had told them; and the LORD accepted Job's prayer.

ERVEN : So Eliphaz from Teman, Bildad from Shuah, and Zophar from Naamah obeyed the Lord. Then the Lord answered Job's prayer.

BNV : ইয়োব তাঁর বন্ধুদের জন্য প্রার্থনা করলেন| প্রভু ইয়োবকে আবার সাফল্য দিলেন| ইয়োবের যা ছিলো, ঈশ্বর তাকে তার দ্বিগুণ দিলেন|
KJV : And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
YLT : And Jehovah hath turned [to] the captivity of Job in his praying for his friends, and Jehovah doth add [to] all that Job hath -- to double.

BNV : তখন ইয়োবের সব ভাইবোন এবং অন্য সবাই যারা ইয়োবকে জানতো, তারা তাঁর বাড়ীতে এলো| তারা ইয়োবকে সান্ত্বনা দিলো, প্রভু য়ে ইয়োবকে এত কষ্ট দিয়েছেন তার জন্য তারা দুঃখিত হল| প্রত্যেকে ইয়োবকে এক টুকরো করে রূপোও একটি করে সোনার আংটি দিল|
KJV : Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.
YLT : And come unto him do all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all his former acquaintances, and they eat bread with him in his house, and bemoan him, and comfort him concerning all the evil that Jehovah had brought upon him, and they gave to him each one kesitah, and each one ring of gold.

ERVEN : Then all his brothers and sisters and all the people who knew him before came to his house. They all ate a big meal with him. They comforted him and were sorry that the Lord had brought him so much trouble. Each person gave Job a piece of silver and a gold ring.

BNV : শুরুতে ইয়োবের যা ছিলো, তার থেকে অনেক বেশী সম্পদ দিয়ে প্রভু ইয়োবকে আশীর্বাদ করলেন| ইয়োব 14,000 মেষ, 6,000 উট, 2,000 গাভী এবং 1,000 স্ত্রী গাধা পেলেন|
KJV : So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.
YLT : And Jehovah hath blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning, and he hath fourteen thousand of a flock, and six thousand camels, and a thousand pairs of oxen, and a thousand she-asses.

ERVEN : The Lord blessed Job with even more than he had in the beginning. Job got 14,000 sheep, 6000 camels, 2000 oxen, and 1000 female donkeys.

KJV : And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.
YLT : and he calleth the name of the one Jemima, and the name of the second Kezia, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch.
RV : And he called the name of the first, Jemimah; and the name of the second, Keziah; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.

BNV : ইয়োবের কন্যারা সারা দেশের মধ্যে সব চেয়ে সুন্দরী নারী ছিল| ইয়োব তাঁর সম্পত্তির একটি অংশ তাঁর কন্যাদের দিলেন- ওরা ওদের ভাইদের মতোই সম্পত্তির অংশ পেল|
KJV : And in all the land were no women found [so] fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.
YLT : And there have not been found women fair as the daughters of Job in all the land, and their father doth give to them an inheritance in the midst of their brethren.

BNV : তখন ইয়োব, আরও 140 বছর বেশী বেঁচে ছিলেন| তিনি তাঁর সন্তানদের চারটি প্রজন্ম দেখবার জন্য বেঁচে ছিলেন|
KJV : After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, [even] four generations.
YLT : And Job liveth after this a hundred and forty years, and seeth his sons, and his sons` sons, four generations;
