BNV : ইলীহূ কথা বলে চলল| সে বলল:
KJV : Elihu spake moreover, and said,
YLT : And Elihu answereth and saith: --
RV : Moreover Elihu answered and said,

ASV : Moreover Elihu answered and said,
ESV : And Elihu answered and said:
ERVEN : Elihu continued talking and said,

BNV : “ইয়োব, আপনার পক্ষে একথা বলা ঠিক নয় য়ে, ‘ঈশ্বর অপেক্ষা আমিই অধিকতর সঠিক|’
KJV : Thinkest thou this to be right, [that] thou saidst, My righteousness [is] more than God’s?
YLT : This hast thou reckoned for judgment: Thou hast said -- `My righteousness [is] more than God`s?`
RV : Thinkest thou this to be {cf15i thy} right, {cf15i or} sayest thou, My righteousness is more than God-s,
RSV : "Do you think this to be just? Do you say, `It is my right before God,'
ASV : Thinkest thou this to be thy right, Or sayest thou, My righteousness is more than Gods,
ESV : "Do you think this to be just? Do you say, 'It is my right before God,'
ERVEN : "Job, it is not fair for you to say, 'I am more right than God,'

BNV : এবং ইয়োব, আপনি ঈশ্বরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করেছেন, ‘কেউ যদি ঈশ্বরকে খুশী করতে চায় তাহলে সে কি পাবে?’ যদি আমি পাপ না করি তাহলেই বা আমার কি ভাল হবে?’
KJV : For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? [and,] What profit shall I have, [if I be cleansed] from my sin?
YLT : For thou sayest, `What doth it profit Thee! What do I profit from my sin?`
RV : That thou sayest, What advantage will it be unto thee? {cf15i and}, What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?
RSV : that you ask, `What advantage have I? How am I better off than if I had sinned?'
ASV : That thou sayest, What advantage will it be unto thee? And, What profit shall I have, more than if I had sinned?
ESV : that you ask, 'What advantage have I? How am I better off than if I had sinned?'
ERVEN : because you also ask him, 'What's the use of trying to please you? What good will it do me if I don't sin?'

BNV : “ইয়োব, আমি আপনাকে এবং আপনার সঙ্গে আপনার য়ে বন্ধুরা রযেছে তাঁদের উত্তর দিতে চাই|
KJV : I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.
YLT : I return thee words, and thy friends with thee,
RV : I will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.
RSV : I will answer you and your friends with you.
ASV : I will answer thee, And thy companions with thee.
ESV : I will answer you and your friends with you.
ERVEN : "Job, I want to answer you and your friends here with you.

BNV : ইয়োব, আকাশের দিকে দেখুন, সেই মেঘের দিকে দেখুন যা আপনার থেকে অনেক অনেক উচেচ|
KJV : Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds [which] are higher than thou.
YLT : Behold attentively the heavens -- and see, And behold the clouds, They have been higher than thou.
RV : Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the skies, which are higher than thou.
RSV : Look at the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds, which are higher than you.
ASV : Look unto the heavens, and see; And behold the skies, which are higher than thou.
ESV : Look at the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds, which are higher than you.
ERVEN : Look up at the sky. Look up at the clouds, which are so much higher than you.

BNV : ইয়োব, যদি আপনি পাপ করেন, তা ঈশ্বরকে স্পর্শমাত্র করে না| যদি আপনার অনেক পাপও থাকে তাতেও ঈশ্বরের কিছু এসে যায় না|
KJV : If thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or [if] thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
YLT : If thou hast sinned, what dost thou against Him? And thy transgressions have been multiplied, What dost thou to Him?
RV : If thou hast sinned, what doest thou against him? and if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him.
RSV : If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against him? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him?
ASV : If thou hast sinned, what effectest thou against him? And if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?
ESV : If you have sinned, what do you accomplish against him? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him?
ERVEN : If you sin, it does not hurt God. Even if your sins are too many to count, that does nothing to God.

BNV : এবং ইয়োব, যদি আপনি ভালো হন তাতেও ঈশ্বরের কিছু এসে যায় না| ঈশ্বর আপনার কাছ থেকে কিছুই পান না|
KJV : If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
YLT : If thou hast been righteous, What dost thou give to Him? Or what from thy hand doth He receive?
RV : If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
RSV : If you are righteous, what do you give to him; or what does he receive from your hand?
ASV : If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? Or what receiveth he of thy hand?
ESV : If you are righteous, what do you give to him? Or what does he receive from your hand?
ERVEN : And if you are good, that does not help God. He gets nothing from you.

BNV : ইয়োব, য়ে ভাল বা মন্দ কাজ আপনি করেন তা আপনারই মত অন্য লোকদের প্রভাবিত করে মাত্র| তা ঈশ্বরকে সাহায্যও করে না, আঘাতও করে না|
KJV : Thy wickedness [may hurt] a man as thou [art;] and thy righteousness [may profit] the son of man.
YLT : For a man like thyself [is] thy wickedness, And for a son of man thy righteousness.
RV : Thy wickedness {cf15i may hurt} a man as thou art; and thy righteousness {cf15i may profit} a son of man.
RSV : Your wickedness concerns a man like yourself, and your righteousness a son of man.
ASV : Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; And thy righteousness may profit a son of man.
ESV : Your wickedness concerns a man like yourself, and your righteousness a son of man.
ERVEN : Job, the good and bad things you do affect only other people like yourself.

BNV : “যদি মন্দ লোকরা আহত হয় তারা সাহায্যের জন্য চিত্কার করে| তারা শক্তিশালী লোকের কাছে যায় এবং তাদের কাছে সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করে|
KJV : By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make [the oppressed] to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.
YLT : Because of the multitude of oppressions They cause to cry out, They cry because of the arm of the mighty.
RV : By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; they cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.
RSV : "Because of the multitude of oppressions people cry out; they call for help because of the arm of the mighty.
ASV : By reason of the multitude of oppressions they cry out; They cry for help by reason of the arm of the mighty.
ESV : "Because of the multitude of oppressions people cry out; they call for help because of the arm of the mighty.
ERVEN : "If people are being hurt, they cry out and beg for protection from those who hurt them.

BNV : তারা বলবে না, ‘ঈশ্বর কোথায় যিনি আমাকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন? সেই ঈশ্বর কোথায় যিনি রাত্রে আমাকে সঙ্গীত দেন?
KJV : But none saith, Where [is] God my maker, who giveth songs in the night;
YLT : And none said, `Where [is] God my maker? Giving songs in the night,
RV : But none saith, Where is God my Maker, who giveth songs in the night;
RSV : But none says, `Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
ASV : But none saith, Where is God my Maker, Who giveth songs in the night,
ESV : But none says, 'Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night,
ERVEN : But they forget to say, 'Where is God, the one who made me? He is the one who gives us songs to sing in the night.

BNV : ঈশ্বর আমাদের পশুপাখীদের চেয়ে বুদ্ধিমান করেছেন| তাই, কোথায় তিনি?’
KJV : Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
YLT : Teaching us more than the beasts of the earth, Yea, than the fowl of the heavens He maketh us wiser.`
RV : Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven?
RSV : who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the birds of the air?'
ASV : Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, And maketh us wiser than the birds of the heavens?
ESV : who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth and makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?'
ERVEN : He is the one who makes us smarter than any animal on earth and wiser than any bird.'

BNV : বা যদি ঐ মন্দ লোকরা সাহায্যের জন্য ঈশ্বরকে ডাকে, ঈশ্বর ওদের কোন উত্তর দেবেন না| কেন? কারণ ঐ লোকগুলো অহঙ্কারী| ওরা এখনও ভাবে ওরাই বেশী গুরুত্বপূর্ণ লোক|
KJV : There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
YLT : There they cry, and He doth not answer, Because of the pride of evil doers.
RV : There they cry, but none giveth answer, because of the pride of evil men.
RSV : There they cry out, but he does not answer, because of the pride of evil men.
ASV : There they cry, but none giveth answer, Because of the pride of evil men.
ESV : There they cry out, but he does not answer, because of the pride of evil men.
ERVEN : "Or if evil people ask God for help, he will not answer them, because they are too proud.

BNV : একথা সত্য য়ে ঈশ্বর ওদের অর্থহীন চাওযায কোন কান দেবেন না| ঈশ্বর সর্বশক্তিমান ওদের দিকে মনোয়োগই দেবেন না|
KJV : Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
YLT : Surely vanity God doth not hear, And the Mighty doth not behold it.
RV : Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.
RSV : Surely God does not hear an empty cry, nor does the Almighty regard it.
ASV : Surely God will not hear an empty cry, Neither will the Almighty regard it.
ESV : Surely God does not hear an empty cry, nor does the Almighty regard it.
ERVEN : God will not listen to their worthless begging. God All-Powerful will not pay attention to them.

BNV : তাই ইয়োব, আপনি যখন বলেছেন আপনি ঈশ্বরকে দেখেন না, তখন তিনি আপনার কথা শুনবেন না| আপনি বলেছেন য়ে আপনি নিজেকে নিষ্পাপ প্রমাণ করার জন্য, ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে মুখোমুখি হওয়ার সুয়োগের অপেক্ষায রযেছেন|
KJV : Although thou sayest thou shalt not see him, [yet] judgment [is] before him; therefore trust thou in him.
YLT : Yea, though thou sayest thou dost not behold Him, Judgment [is] before Him, and stay for Him.
RV : How much less when thou sayest thou beholdest him not, the cause is before him, and thou waitest for him!
RSV : How much less when you say that you do not see him, that the case is before him, and you are waiting for him!
ASV : How much less when thou sayest thou beholdest him not, The cause is before him, and thou waitest for him!
ESV : How much less when you say that you do not see him, that the case is before him, and you are waiting for him!
ERVEN : So, Job, God will not listen to you when you say that you don't see him. You say you are waiting for your chance to meet with him and prove that you are innocent.

BNV : “ইয়োব ভাবেন য়ে ঈশ্বর মন্দ লোকদের শাস্তি দেন না, তিনি মনে করেন ঈশ্বর পাপের দিকে কোন দৃষ্টি দেন না|
KJV : But now, because [it is] not [so,] he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth [it] not in great extremity:
YLT : And, now, because there is not, He hath appointed His anger, And He hath not known in great extremity.
RV : But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, neither doth he greatly regard arrogance;
RSV : And now, because his anger does not punish, and he does not greatly heed transgression,
ASV : But now, because he hath not visited in his anger, Neither doth he greatly regard arrogance;
ESV : And now, because his anger does not punish, and he does not take much note of transgression,
ERVEN : "Job thinks that God does not punish evil and that he pays no attention to sin.

BNV : তাই ইয়োব অর্থহীন কথাবার্তা বলেন| তিনি অনেক কথা বলেন কিন্তু কিছু জানেন না|”
KJV : Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
YLT : And Job [with] vanity doth open his mouth, Without knowledge words he multiplieth.
RV : Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vanity; he multiplieth words without knowledge.
RSV : Job opens his mouth in empty talk, he multiplies words without knowledge."
ASV : Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vanity; He multiplieth words without knowledge.
ESV : Job opens his mouth in empty talk; he multiplies words without knowledge."
ERVEN : So he continues his worthless talking. Everything he has said shows he does not know what he is talking about."
