BNV : প্রভু বললেন, “এই বিদ্রোহী শিশুদের দিকে দেখ| তারা আমাকে মান্য করে না| তারা পরিকল্পনা করে| কিন্তু তারা আমাকে সাহায্য করতে বলে না| তারা অন্য দেশের সঙ্গে চুক্তি করে| কিন্তু আমার আত্মা ঐ ধরণের চুক্তি চায় না| এই সব লোকরা তাদের পাপের সঙ্গে আরো অনেক পাপ যোগ করছে|
KJV : Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
YLT : Wo [to] apostate sons, The affirmation of Jehovah! To do counsel, and not from Me, And to spread out a covering, and not of My spirit, So as to add sin to sin.
RV : Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:
RSV : "Woe to the rebellious children," says the LORD, "who carry out a plan, but not mine; and who make a league, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin;
ASV : Woe to the rebellious children, saith Jehovah, that take counsel, but not of me; and that make a league, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin,
ESV : "Ah, stubborn children," declares the LORD, "who carry out a plan, but not mine, and who make an alliance, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin;
ERVEN : The Lord said, "Look at these children. They don't obey me. They make plans, but they don't ask me to help them. They make agreements with other nations, but my Spirit does not want those agreements. These people are adding more and more sins to the ones they have already done.

BNV : এই সব শিশুরা সাহায্যের জন্য মিশরে যাচ্ছে| কিন্তু তারা কখনো আমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করেনি, এটা তারা ঠিক কাজ করছে কি না| তাদের আশা মিশরের রাজা ফরৌণ তাদের সাহায্যে করবে| তারা চায় মিশর তাদের রক্ষা করুক|
KJV : That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
YLT : Who are walking to go down to Egypt, And My mouth have not asked, To be strong in the strength of Pharaoh, And to trust in the shadow of Egypt.

ERVEN : They are going down to Egypt for help, but they did not ask me if that was the right thing to do. They hope they will be saved by the Pharaoh. They want Egypt to protect them.

BNV : “কিন্তু আমি বলব মিশরে লুকিয়ে থাকা তোমাদের পক্ষে সহায়ক হবে না| মিশর তোমাদের রক্ষা করতে পারবে না|
KJV : Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt [your] confusion.
YLT : And the strength of Pharaoh Hath been to you for shame, And the trust in the shadow of Egypt confusion,

ERVEN : "But I tell you, hiding in Egypt will not help you. Pharaoh will not be able to protect you.

BNV : তোমাদের নেতারা মিশরীয় শহর সোযনে গিয়েছে| এবং তোমাদের রাষ্ট্রদূতরা মিশরীয় শহর হানেষে গিয়েছে|
KJV : For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.

BNV : কিন্তু তারা আশাহত হবে| তারা এমন একটা জাতির উপর নির্ভরশীল যারা সাহায্য করতে অপারগ| মিশর হচ্ছে অকর্মণ্য| প্রয়োজনীয় সাহায্য ওরা দিতে পারবে না| মিশর তাদের কাছে শুধুমাত্র লজ্জা এবং বিহবলতা আনবে|”
KJV : They were all ashamed of a people [that] could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.
YLT : All he made ashamed of a people that profit not, Neither for help, not for profit, But for shame, and also for reproach!
RV : They shall all be ashamed of a people that cannot profit them, that are not an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.

ERVEN : But they will be disappointed. They are depending on a nation that cannot help them. Egypt is useless—it will not help. Egypt will bring nothing but shame and embarrassment."

KJV : The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence [come] the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people [that] shall not profit [them. ]
YLT : The burden of the beasts of the south. Into a land of adversity and distress, Of young lion and of old lion, Whence [are] viper and flying saraph, They carry on the shoulder of asses their wealth, And on the hump of camels their treasures, Unto a people not profitable.

ESV : An oracle on the beasts of the Negeb. Through a land of trouble and anguish, from where come the lioness and the lion, the adder and the flying fiery serpent, they carry their riches on the backs of donkeys, and their treasures on the humps of camels, to a people that cannot profit them.
ERVEN : This is a message about the Negev animals: There is a dangerous place full of lions, adders, deadly snakes, and useless people. And there are people who load their wealth onto donkeys and their treasures on the backs of camels. They carry them to a people who cannot help.

KJV : For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength [is] to sit still.

ERVEN : That useless nation is Egypt. Egypt's help is worth nothing, so I call Egypt the "Do-Nothing Dragon."

BNV : এখন এটাকে কোন চিহ্নের ওপর লেখ যাতে সমস্ত মানুষ এটাকে দেখতে পায় এবং এটা লিখে রাখ একটা বইয়ের মধ্যে| শেষের দিনের জন্য এগুলি লেখ যাতে এগুলি সুদূর ভবিষ্যতে সাক্ষ্যস্বরূপ চিরকাল থাকে|
KJV : Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
YLT : No, go in, write it on a tablet with them, And on a book engrave it, And it is for a latter day, for a witness unto the age,

BNV : এই সব লোক শিশুদের মতো| তারা তাদের পিতামাতাকে মান্য করতে চায় না| তারা মিথ্যা কথা বলে এবং ঈশ্বরের বিধি শুনতে অস্বীকার করে|
KJV : That this [is] a rebellious people, lying children, children [that] will not hear the law of the LORD:

ERVEN : These people are like children who refuse to obey. They lie and refuse to listen to the Lord's teachings.

BNV : তারা ভাব্বাদীদের বলে, “ভবিষ্যদ্বাণী করো না! যা যা আমাদের করা উচিত্‌ সে বিষয়ে স্বপ্ন দেখো না! আমাদের সত্যি কথা বলো না| সুন্দর জিনিসের কথা আমাদের বল এবং আমাদের মধ্যে ভাল অনুভূতির সঞ্চার কর! আমাদের শুধু ভাল ভাল জিনিস দেখাও!
KJV : Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:
YLT : Who have said to seers, `Ye do not see,` And to prophets, `Ye do not prophesy to us Straightforward things, Speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits,

BNV : সেই সব জিনিস দেখাবে যা যা ঘটবে! সেগুলিকে আমাদের থেকে বরং দূরে সরিয়ে রাখ! ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বরের কথা আমাদের বোল না|”
KJV : Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

BNV : ইস্রায়েলের পবিত্র জনটি বলেন, “তোমরা প্রভুর কাছ থেকে আসা এই বার্তা গ্রহণ করতে অস্বীকার করেছ| তোমরা পীড়ন ও মিথ্যার ওপর নির্ভর করতে চাও|
KJV : Wherefore thus saith the Holy One of Israel, Because ye despise this word, and trust in oppression and perverseness, and stay thereon:

BNV : এসব কাজের জন্য তোমরা অপরাধী| তোমরা আসলে ফাটল ধরা উঁচু প্রাচীরের মতোই| সেই প্রাচীরের পতন হবে এবং তা ছোট ছোট টুকরোয পরিণত হবে|
KJV : Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant.

BNV : তোমরা চীনামাটির বাসনের মতো ভেঙ্গে ছোট ছোট টুকরোয পরিণত হবে| এই টুকরোগুলি কোন কাজেই লাগবে না| তোমরা সেই টুকরোগুলোকে গরম কযলার টুকরো তোলার কাজে অথবা জলাশয থেকে জল আনার কাজে ব্যবহার করতে পারবে না|”
KJV : And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water [withal] out of the pit.
YLT : And He hath broken it As the breaking of the potters` bottle, Beaten down -- He doth not spare, Nor is there found, in its beating down, A potsherd to take fire from the burning, And to draw out waters from a ditch.
RV : And he shall break it as a potter-s vessel is broken, breaking it in pieces without sparing; so that there shall not be found among the pieces thereof a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the cistern.
RSV : and its breaking is like that of a potter's vessel which is smashed so ruthlessly that among its fragments not a sherd is found with which to take fire from the hearth, or to dip up water out of the cistern."
ASV : And he shall break it as a potters vessel is broken, breaking it in pieces without sparing; so that there shall not be found among the pieces thereof a sherd wherewith to take fire from the hearth, or to dip up water out of the cistern.
ESV : and its breaking is like that of a potter's vessel that is smashed so ruthlessly that among its fragments not a shard is found with which to take fire from the hearth, or to dip up water out of the cistern."
ERVEN : You will be like a large clay jar that breaks into many small, useless pieces. You cannot use them to get a hot coal from the fire or to get water from a pool in the ground."

BNV : প্রভু, আমার গুরু, ইস্রায়েলের পবিত্র জনটি বলেন, “তোমরা যদি আমার কাছে ফিরে আসো তবে সুরক্ষিত হবে| তোমরা যদি আমার ওপর আস্থা রাখ তবেই পাবে আসল শক্তি| কিন্তু তোমাদের শান্ত হতে হবে|”কিন্তু তোমরা তা করতে চাও না!
KJV : For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.
YLT : For thus said the Lord Jehovah, The Holy One of Israel: `In returning and rest ye are saved, In keeping quiet and in confidence is your might, And ye have not been willing.
RV : For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and ye would not.

ERVEN : The Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, says, "If you come back to me you will be saved. Only by remaining calm and trusting in me can you be strong." But you don't want to do that.

BNV : তোমরা বলবে, “না, আমাদের পালিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য ঘোড়া চাই|” নিশ্চয়ই তোমরা ঘোড়ায় চেপে পালিয়ে যাবে| কিন্তু শএুরা তোমাদের পেছনে তাড়া করবে| এবং শএুরা তোমাদের ঘোড়ার থেকেও দ্রুতগামী হবে|
KJV : But ye said, No; for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
YLT : And ye say, No, for on a horse we flee? Therefore ye flee, And on the swift we ride! Therefore swift are your pursuers.
RV : but ye said, No, for we will flee upon horses; therefore shall ye flee: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift.
RSV : but you said, "No! We will speed upon horses," therefore you shall speed away; and, "We will ride upon swift steeds," therefore your pursuers shall be swift.

ESV : and you said, "No! We will flee upon horses"; therefore you shall flee away; and, "We will ride upon swift steeds"; therefore your pursuers shall be swift.
ERVEN : You say, "No, we need fast horses for battle." That is true—you will need fast horses, but only to run away because your enemy will be faster than your horses.

BNV : এক জন শএু তোমাদের ভয় দেখাবে এবং তোমাদের এক হাজার লোক পালিয়ে যাবে| যখন পাঁচজন শএু তোমাদের ভয় দেখাবে তখন তোমরা সবাই ওদের কাছ থেকে পালিয়ে যাবে| তোমাদের সেনাদের যে জিনিসটা শুধুমাত্র পড়ে থাকবে তা হল পাহাড়ের ওপর একটি পতাকার দণ্ড|
KJV : One thousand [shall flee] at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye flee: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill.
YLT : One thousand because of the rebuke of one, Because of the rebuke of five ye flee, Till ye have been surely left as a pole On the top of the mountain, And as an ensign on the height.

ERVEN : One enemy soldier will make threats, and a thousand of your men will run away. And when five of them make threats, all of you will run away. The only thing that will be left of your army will be a flagpole on a hill.

BNV : প্রভু তোমাদের প্রতি তাঁর করুণা দেখাতে চান| তিনি অপেক্ষা করছেন| তিনি উঠে দাঁড়াতে চান এবং তোমাদের আরাম দিতে চান| প্রভু ঈশ্বর ন্যায়পরায়ণ এবং যারা প্রভুর কৃপার অপেক্ষায আছেন তারা সুখী হবে|
KJV : And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD [is] a God of judgment: blessed [are] all they that wait for him.
YLT : And therefore doth wait Jehovah to favour you, And therefore He is exalted to pity you, For a God of judgment [is] Jehovah, O the blessedness of all waiting for Him.
RV : And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment; blessed are all they that wait for him.
RSV : Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you; therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.
ASV : And therefore will Jehovah wait, that he may be gracious unto you; and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for Jehovah is a God of justice; blessed are all they that wait for him.
ESV : Therefore the LORD waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the LORD is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.
ERVEN : So the Lord is waiting to show his mercy to you. He wants to rise and comfort you. The Lord is the God who does the right thing, so he will bless everyone who waits for his help.

BNV : প্রভুর লোকরা সিয়োন পর্বতের ওপর জেরুশালেমে বাস করবে| তোমরা এন্দনরত থাকবে না| প্রভু তোমাদের কান্না শুনবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের আরাম দেবেন| প্রভু তোমাদের কথা শুনবেন এবং তিনি তোমাদের কৃপা করবেন|
KJV : For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.
YLT : For the people in Zion dwell in Jerusalem, Weep thou not, weeping, Pitying, He pitieth thee at the voice of thy cry, When He heareth He answereth thee.

ERVEN : Topheth has been made ready for a long time. It is ready for the king. It was made very deep and wide. There is a very big pile of wood and fire there, and the Lord's breath will come like a stream of burning sulfur to start the fire.
