BNV : “বিয়ে করার পর যদি কোন পুরুষ তার স্ত্রীর মধ্যে এমন কিছু লজ্জাকর জিনিষ দেখে যার জন্য সে তার প্রতি সন্তুষ্ট না হয়, তবে সে ত্যাগ পত্র লিখে তাকে বাড়ী থেকে বিদায করে দেবে|
KJV : When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give [it] in her hand, and send her out of his house.
YLT : `When a man doth take a wife, and hath married her, and it hath been, if she doth not find grace in his eyes (for he hath found in her nakedness of anything), and he hath written for her a writing of divorce, and given [it] into her hand, and sent her out of his house,
RV : When a man taketh a wife, and marrieth her, then it shall be, if she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

ESV : "When a man takes a wife and marries her, if then she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, and she departs out of his house,
ERVEN : "A man might marry a woman, and then find some secret thing about her that he does not like. If that man is not pleased with her, he must write the divorce papers and give them to her. Then he must send her from his house.

BNV : সেই ঘর ত্যাগ করার পর সেই স্ত্রী গিয়ে অন্য কোন পুরুষের স্ত্রী হতে পারে|
KJV : And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s [wife. ]
YLT : and she hath gone out of his house, and hath gone and been another man`s,
RV : And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man-s {cf15i wife}.
RSV : and if she goes and becomes another man's wife,
ASV : And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another mans wife.
ESV : and if she goes and becomes another man's wife,
ERVEN : When she has left his house, she may go and become another man's wife.

BNV : কিন্তু এমন হতে পারে য়ে সেই নতুন স্বামীও তাকে পছন্দ করল না এবং বাড়ী থেকে বিদায করল| তারপর যদি দ্বিতীয স্বামী তাকে বিবাহ বিচ্ছেদ দেয়, অথবা যদি সে মারা যায় তবে প্রথম স্বামী আর তাকে তার স্ত্রী হিসাবে গ্রহণ করতে পারবে না| সে তার কাছে অশুচি, তাই সে যদি আবার বিয়ে করে তবে সে প্রভু যা ঘৃণা করেন তাই করবে| প্রভু, তোমার ঈশ্বর, অধিকারের জন্য য়ে দেশ দিচ্ছেন সেখানে তুমি অবশ্যই এভাবে পাপ করবে না|
KJV : And [if] the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth [it] in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to [be] his wife;
YLT : and the latter man hath hated her, and written for her a writing of divorce, and given [it] into her hand, and sent her out of his house, or when the latter man dieth, who hath taken her to himself for a wife:
RV : And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;
RSV : and the latter husband dislikes her and writes her a bill of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter husband dies, who took her to be his wife,
ASV : And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, who took her to be his wife;
ESV : and the latter man hates her and writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter man dies, who took her to be his wife,
ERVEN : But suppose the new husband also does not like her and sends her away. If that man divorces her, the first husband may not take her again to be his wife. Or if the new husband dies, her first husband may not take her again to be his wife. She has become unclean to him. If he married her again, he would be doing something the Lord hates. You must not sin like this in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.

KJV : Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that [is] abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee [for] an inheritance.
YLT : `Her former husband who sent her away is not able to turn back to take her to be to him for a wife, after that she hath become defiled; for an abomination it [is] before Jehovah, and thou dost not cause the land to sin which Jehovah thy God is giving to thee -- an inheritance.
RV : her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
RSV : then her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled; for that is an abomination before the LORD, and you shall not bring guilt upon the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.
ASV : her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before Jehovah: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
ESV : then her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled, for that is an abomination before the LORD. And you shall not bring sin upon the land that the LORD your God is giving you for an inheritance.

BNV : “সবে বিয়ে হয়েছে এমন লোকর সৈন্যবাহিনীতে অথবা অন্য এরকম কোন বিশেষ কাজে য়োগ দেবার প্রযোজন নেই| এক বছরের জন্য সে স্বাধীনভাবে বাড়ীতে থেকে তার স্ত্রীকে খুশী করতে পারে|
KJV : When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: [but] he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.
YLT : `When a man taketh a new wife, he doth not go out into the host, and [one] doth not pass over unto him for anything; free he is at his own house one year, and hath rejoiced his wife whom he hath taken.
RV : When a man taketh a new wife, he shall not go out in the host, neither shall he be charged with any business: he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer his wife which he hath taken.
RSV : "When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be charged with any business; he shall be free at home one year, to be happy with his wife whom he has taken.

ESV : "When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be liable for any other public duty. He shall be free at home one year to be happy with his wife whom he has taken.
ERVEN : "When a man is newly married, he must not be sent into the army. And he must not be given any other special work. For one year he must be free to stay home and make his new wife happy.

BNV : “যখন তোমরা কাউকে ধার দাও, তখন বন্ধক হিসাবে য়াঁতার কোন অংশ নিও না| কারণ তা করলে তা তার খাবার কেড়ে নেওয়ার সমান হয়|
KJV : No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh [a man’s] life to pledge.
YLT : `None doth take in pledge millstones, and rider, for life it [is] he is taking in pledge.
RV : No man shall take the mill or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh {cf15i a man-s} life to pledge.
RSV : "No man shall take a mill or an upper millstone in pledge; for he would be taking a life in pledge.

ERVEN : "When you lend someone something, you must not take as security any part of the stones used to grind flour. That would be the same as taking away their food.

BNV : “ইস্রায়েলীয় কোন লোক যদি অপর কোন একজন ইস্রায়েলীয়কে চুরি করে তাকে দাস হিসাবে বিক্রি করে, তবে সেই চোরকে য়েন হত্যা করা হয়| এই ভাবে তোমরা তোমাদের মধ্যে থেকে দুষ্টাচার দূর করবে|
KJV : If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.
YLT : `When a man is found stealing a person, of his brethren, of the sons of Israel, and hath tyrannized over him, and sold him, then hath that thief died, and thou hast put away the evil thing out of thy midst.
RV : If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and he deal with him as a slave, or sell him; then that thief shall die: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee.
RSV : "If a man is found stealing one of his brethren, the people of Israel, and if he treats him as a slave or sells him, then that thief shall die; so you shall purge the evil from the midst of you.
ASV : If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and he deal with him as a slave, or sell him; then that thief shall die: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee.
ESV : "If a man is found stealing one of his brothers, the people of Israel, and if he treats him as a slave or sells him, then that thief shall die. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.
ERVEN : "Someone might kidnap another Israelite—one of their own people. And that kidnapper might sell that person as a slave. If that happens, that kidnapper must be killed. You must remove this evil from your group.

BNV : “তোমার খারাপ ধরণের কোন চর্মরোগ হলে লেবীয় যাজকরা যা করতে বলে যত্ন সহকারে তার সব কথা পালন কোর| আমি সেই যাজকদের যা আজ্ঞা করেছি তা যত্নের সাথে পালন করো|
KJV : Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.
YLT : `Take heed, in the plague of leprosy, to watch greatly, and to do according to all that the priests, the Levites, teach you; as I have commanded them ye observe to do;
RV : Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.
RSV : "Take heed, in an attack of leprosy, to be very careful to do according to all that the Levitical priests shall direct you; as I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.
ASV : Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.
ESV : "Take care, in a case of leprous disease, to be very careful to do according to all that the Levitical priests shall direct you. As I commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.
ERVEN : "When you have a very bad skin disease, be very careful to follow everything the Levite priests teach you. You must follow carefully what I told the priests to do.

BNV : মনে রেখো, মিশর থেকে বের হয়ে আসার সময় প্রভু, তোমার ঈশ্বর, মরিযমের প্রতি কি করেছিলেন|
KJV : Remember what the LORD thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come forth out of Egypt.
YLT : remember that which Jehovah thy God hath done to Miriam in the way, in your coming out of Egypt.
RV : Remember what the LORD thy God did unto Miriam, by the way as ye came forth out of Egypt.
RSV : Remember what the LORD your God did to Miriam on the way as you came forth out of Egypt.

BNV : “কোন লোককে কিছু ধার দেওয়ার সময় বন্ধক নেওয়ার জন্য তার বাড়ীতে ঢুকবে না|
KJV : When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.
YLT : `When thou liftest up on thy brother a debt of anything, thou dost not go in unto his house to obtain his pledge;
RV : When thou dost lend thy neighbour any manner of loan, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.
RSV : "When you make your neighbor a loan of any sort, you shall not go into his house to fetch his pledge.

ERVEN : "When you give someone any kind of loan, you must not go into their house to get security.

BNV : সে বন্ধক নিয়ে তার বাড়ী থেকে বেরিয়ে আসার সময় তুমি তার বাড়ীর বাইরে দাঁড়িয়ে থাকবে|
KJV : Thou shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee.
YLT : at the outside thou dost stand, and the man on whom thou art lifting [it] up is bringing out unto thee the pledge at the outside.
RV : Thou shalt stand without, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring forth the pledge without unto thee.
RSV : You shall stand outside, and the man to whom you make the loan shall bring the pledge out to you.

BNV : যদি সেই লোকটি গরীব হয় তবে সে হয়তো বন্ধক হিসাবে তার গরম কাপড় দিতে পারে| এই ধরণের বন্ধক সূর্য়াস্তের পর তোমার কাছে রাখবে না|
KJV : And if the man [be] poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:
YLT : `And if he is a poor man, thou dost not lie down with his pledge;
RV : And if he be a poor man, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:
RSV : And if he is a poor man, you shall not sleep in his pledge;

ERVEN : If he is a poor man, {then he might give the clothes that keep him warm}. You must not keep that security overnight.

BNV : তার এই বন্ধক রোজ বিকেলে তার কাছে ফিরিয়ে দিও| তাহলে সে শোবার জন্য কাপড় পাবে| সে তোমাকে আশীর্বাদ করবে, আর প্রভু, তোমার ঈশ্বর, এই কাজকে ধার্মিকতার কাজ হিসাবে গণ্য করবেন|
KJV : In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.
YLT : thou dost certainly give back to him the pledge at the going in of the sun, and he hath lain down in his own raiment, and hath blessed thee; and to thee it is righteousness before Jehovah thy God.
RV : thou shalt surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his garment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.
RSV : when the sun goes down, you shall restore to him the pledge that he may sleep in his cloak and bless you; and it shall be righteousness to you before the LORD your God.
ASV : thou shalt surely restore to him the pledge when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his garment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before Jehovah thy God.
ESV : You shall restore to him the pledge as the sun sets, that he may sleep in his cloak and bless you. And it shall be righteousness for you before the LORD your God.
ERVEN : You must give his security back to him every evening. Then he will have clothes to sleep in. He will bless you, and the Lord your God will accept this as living right and doing good.

BNV : “দরিদ্র এবং অভাবী শ্রমিককে তোমরা মজুরীর ব্যাপারে ঠকাবে না| সে তোমাদের কোন নগরে বাসকারী ইস্রায়েলীয় হোক বা বিদেশী হোক তাতে কিছু এসে যায় না|
KJV : Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant [that is] poor and needy, [whether he be] of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that [are] in thy land within thy gates:
YLT : `Thou dost not oppress a hireling, poor and needy, of thy brethren or of thy sojourner who is in thy land within thy gates;
RV : Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:
RSV : "You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brethren or one of the sojourners who are in your land within your towns;

ERVEN : "You must not cheat a hired servant who is poor and needy. It does not matter if he is an Israelite or if he is a foreigner living in one of your cities.

BNV : প্রতিদিন সূর্য়াস্তের আগে তাকে তার বেতন মিটিযে দেবে, কারণ সে গরীব এবং ঐ অর্থের উপরেই সে নির্ভর করে| যদি তুমি তার বেতন মিটিযে না দাও, সে তোমার বিরুদ্ধে প্রভুর কাছে অনুয়োগ করবে এবং তুমি সেই পাপে দোষী হবে|
KJV : At his day thou shalt give [him] his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he [is] poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
YLT : in his day thou dost give his hire, and the sun doth not go in upon it, for he [is] poor, and unto it he is lifting up his soul, and he doth not cry against thee unto Jehovah, and it hath been in thee -- sin.
RV : in his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
RSV : you shall give him his hire on the day he earns it, before the sun goes down (for he is poor, and sets his heart upon it); lest he cry against you to the LORD, and it be sin in you.
ASV : in his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto Jehovah, and it be sin unto thee.
ESV : You shall give him his wages on the same day, before the sun sets (for he is poor and counts on it), lest he cry against you to the LORD, and you be guilty of sin.
ERVEN : Give him his pay every day before sunset, because he is poor and depends on the money. If you don't pay him, he will complain against you to the Lord, and you will be guilty of sin.

BNV : “সন্তান দোষ করলে পিতামাতার বা পিতামাতা দোষ করলে তার জন্য সন্তানের প্রাণদণ্ড দেওয়া যাবে না| কোন ব্যক্তিকে কেবল তার নিজের করা অন্যাযের জন্যই প্রাণদণ্ড দেওয়া যাবে|
KJV : The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
YLT : `Fathers are not put to death for sons, and sons are not put to death for fathers -- each for his own sin, they are put to death.
RV : The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

ESV : "Fathers shall not be put to death because of their children, nor shall children be put to death because of their fathers. Each one shall be put to death for his own sin.
ERVEN : "Parents must not be put to death for something their children did. And children must not be put to death for something their parents did. People should be put to death only for a bad thing that they themselves did.

BNV : “পরদেশী এবং অনাথদের বিচারে অন্যায় করো না| আর বন্ধক হিসাবে কখনও কোন বিধবার কাপড় নিও না|
KJV : Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, [nor] of the fatherless; nor take a widow’s raiment to pledge:
YLT : `Thou dost not turn aside the judgment of a fatherless sojourner, nor take in pledge the garment of a widow;
RV : Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of the stranger, {cf15i nor} of the fatherless; nor take the widow-s raiment to pledge:
RSV : "You shall not pervert the justice due to the sojourner or to the fatherless, or take a widow's garment in pledge;
ASV : Thou shalt not wrest the justice due to the sojourner, or to the fatherless, nor take the widows raiment to pledge;
ESV : "You shall not pervert the justice due to the sojourner or to the fatherless, or take a widow's garment in pledge,
ERVEN : "You must make sure that foreigners and orphans are treated fairly. And you must never take clothes from a widow as security.

BNV : মনে রেখো, তোমরা মিশরে গরীব ও দাস ছিলে এবং প্রভু, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর, তোমাদের সেই অবস্থা থেকে মুক্ত করে আনলেন| সেই জন্যই গরীবদের প্রতি আমি তোমাদের এই কাজ করতে বলি|
KJV : But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
YLT : and thou hast remembered that a servant thou hast been in Egypt, and Jehovah thy God doth ransom thee from thence; therefore I am commanding thee to do this thing.
RV : but thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
RSV : but you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt and the LORD your God redeemed you from there; therefore I command you to do this.

ERVEN : Remember, you were poor slaves in Egypt. And the Lord your God took you from that place and set you free. That is why I tell you to do these things for the poor.

BNV : “ক্ষেতে শস্য কাটার সময় তুমি যদি ভুলে গিয়ে কিছু শস্য মাঠে ফেলে এসে থাকো, তাহলে সেগুলি সংগ্রহ করার জন্য আবার ফিরে য়েও না, সেটা বিদেশী, অনাথ বা বিধবাদের জন্য থাকবে| তুমি তাদের জন্য কিছু শস্য রাখলে তোমরা যা কিছু কর প্রভু ঈশ্বর তাতেই তোমাদের আশীর্বাদ করবেন|
KJV : When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.
YLT : `When thou reapest thy harvest in thy field, and hast forgotten a sheaf in a field, thou dost not turn back to take it; to the sojourner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, it is; so that Jehovah thy God doth bless thee in all the work of thy hands.

ERVEN : "You might be gathering your harvest in the field, and you might forget and leave some grain there. You must not go back to get it. It will be for the foreigners, the orphans, and the widows. If you leave some grain for them, the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

BNV : তুমি যখন জলপাই গাছের ফল পাড়ার জন্য ঝাড় তখন আবার প্রতিটি শাখা খুঁজে খুঁজে দেখো না| য়ে জলপাই ফেলে রাখলে তা বিদেশী, পিতৃহীন ও বিধবাদের জন্য রইল|
KJV : When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
