BNV : “যদি দেখ য়ে তোমাদের প্রতিবেশীর বলদ বা মেষগুলি পথ হারিযেছে, তবে তোমরা বিষয়টিকে উপেক্ষা করবে না| সেটিকে অবশ্যই তার মালিকের কাছে ফিরিয়ে আনবে|
KJV : Thou shalt not see the brother’s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.
YLT : `Thou dost not see the ox of thy brother or his sheep driven away, and hast hidden thyself from them, thou dost certainly turn them back to thy brother;
RV : Thou shalt not see thy brother-s ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely bring them again unto thy brother.
RSV : "You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and withhold your help from them; you shall take them back to your brother.
ASV : Thou shalt not see thy brothers ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely bring them again unto thy brother.
ESV : "You shall not see your brother's ox or his sheep going astray and ignore them. You shall take them back to your brother.
ERVEN : "If you see that your neighbor's ox or sheep is loose, you must not ignore it. Be sure to take it back to its owner.

BNV : যদি মালিক কাছাকাছি বাস না করে অথবা যদি তোমরা না জানো য়ে এটি কার, তাহলে তোমরা সেই পশুকে তোমাদের বাড়ী নিয়ে য়েতে পারো এবং যতক্ষণ পর্য়ন্ত না মালিক এটির খোঁজে আসে ততক্ষণ পর্য়ন্ত তোমরা এটিকে রাখতে পার| পরে তাকে এটি ফিরিয়ে দেবে|
KJV : And if thy brother [be] not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.
YLT : and if thy brother [is] not near unto thee, and thou hast not known him, then thou hast removed it unto the midst of thy house, and it hath been with thee till thy brother seek it, and thou hast given it back to him;
RV : And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it home to thine house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.
RSV : And if he is not near you, or if you do not know him, you shall bring it home to your house, and it shall be with you until your brother seeks it; then you shall restore it to him.

ESV : And if he does not live near you and you do not know who he is, you shall bring it home to your house, and it shall stay with you until your brother seeks it. Then you shall restore it to him.
ERVEN : If the owner does not live near you or if you don't know who it belongs to, take the ox or sheep to your house. Keep it there until the owner comes looking for it; then give it back.

BNV : তোমাদের প্রতিবেশী যদি তার গাধা, জামাকাপড় অথবা অন্য কোনো কিছু হারায় তাহলেও তোমরা ঐ একই কাজ করবে| তোমরা এই বিষয়টি এড়িয়ে য়েও না|
KJV : In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost things of thy brother’s, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.
YLT : and so thou dost to his ass, and so thou dost to his garment, and so thou dost to any lost thing of thy brother`s, which is lost by him, and thou hast found it; thou art not able to hide thyself.
RV : And so shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his garment; and so shalt thou do with every lost thing of thy brother-s, which he hath lost, and thou hast found: thou mayest not hide thyself.
RSV : And so you shall do with his ass; so you shall do with his garment; so you shall do with any lost thing of your brother's, which he loses and you find; you may not withhold your help.
ASV : And so shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his garment; and so shalt thou do with every lost thing of thy brothers, which he hath lost, and thou hast found: thou mayest not hide thyself.
ESV : And you shall do the same with his donkey or with his garment, or with any lost thing of your brother's, which he loses and you find; you may not ignore it.
ERVEN : You must do the same thing when you find anything that your neighbor might have lost. Don't try selling it to your neighbor—you must give it back.

BNV : “যদি তোমাদের প্রতিবেশীর গাধা অথবা গরু রাস্তায় পড়ে যায়, তোমরা সেটিকে অবহেলা করবে না| তোমরা অবশ্যই সেটিকে পুনরায দাঁড় করাতে সাহায্য করবে|
KJV : Thou shalt not see thy brother’s ass or his ox fall down by the way, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt surely help him to lift [them] up again.
YLT : `Thou dost not see the ass of thy brother, or his ox, falling in the way, and hast hid thyself from them; thou dost certainly raise [them] up with him.

BNV : “স্ত্রীলোক কখনই পুরুষদের পোশাক পরবে না এবং পুরুষ কখনই স্ত্রীলোকদের পোশাক পরবে না| য়ে কেউ এই কাজ করে সে প্রভু তোমাদের ঈশ্বরের কাছে ঘৃণার পাত্র|
KJV : The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so [are] abomination unto the LORD thy God.
YLT : `The habiliments of a man are not on a woman, nor doth a man put on the garment of a woman, for the abomination of Jehovah thy God [is] any one doing these.
RV : A woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman-s garment: for whosoever doeth these things is an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
RSV : "A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.

ESV : "A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.
ERVEN : "A woman must not wear men's clothes, and a man must not wear women's clothes. That is very disgusting to the Lord your God.

BNV : “তোমরা যদি গাছের ওপরে অথবা মাঠে কোনো পাখীর বাসা দেখ যেখানে মা পাখী তার শাবকদের সঙ্গে অথবা ডিমের ওপরে বসে আছে, তাহলে তোমরা কখনই বাচ্চাদের সঙ্গে মা পাখীকে নেবে না|
KJV : If a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, [whether they be] young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
YLT : `When a bird`s nest cometh before thee in the way, in any tree, or on the earth, brood or eggs, and the mother sitting on the brood or on the eggs, thou dost not take the mother with the young ones;
RV : If a bird-s nest chance to be before thee in the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
RSV : "If you chance to come upon a bird's nest, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs and the mother sitting upon the young or upon the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young;
ASV : If a birds nest chance to be before thee in the way, in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young:
ESV : "If you come across a bird's nest in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs and the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young.
ERVEN : "You might be walking along a path and find a bird's nest in a tree or on the ground. If the mother bird is sitting with her baby birds or on the eggs, you must not take the mother bird with the babies.

BNV : তোমরা তোমাদের নিজেদের জন্য বাচ্চাদের নিতে পারো| কিন্তু তোমরা মাকে অবশ্যই য়েতে দেবে| যদি তোমরা এই বিধিগুলি মেনে চল, তাহলে তোমাদের মঙ্গল হবে এবং তোমরা বহুদিন বেঁচে থাকবে|
KJV : [But] thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and [that] thou mayest prolong [thy] days.
YLT : thou dost certainly send away the mother, and the young ones dost take to thyself, so that it is well with thee, and thou hast prolonged days.
RV : thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, but the young thou mayest take unto thyself; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.
RSV : you shall let the mother go, but the young you may take to yourself; that it may go well with you, and that you may live long.

ERVEN : You may take the babies for yourself, but you must let the mother go. If you obey these laws, things will go well for you, and you will live a long time.

BNV : “যখন তোমরা নতুন বাড়ী তৈরী কর, তোমরা ছাদের চারধারে অবশ্যই দেওয়াল তুলবে| তাহলে বাড়ী থেকে পড়ে গিয়ে কোন ব্যক্তির মৃত্যুর জন্য তোমরা অবশ্যই দাযী হবে না|
KJV : When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.
YLT : `When thou buildest a new house, then thou hast made a parapet to thy roof, and thou dost not put blood on thy house when one falleth from it.
RV : When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, if any man fall from thence.
RSV : "When you build a new house, you shall make a parapet for your roof, that you may not bring the guilt of blood upon your house, if any one fall from it.

ERVEN : "When you build a new house, you must build a wall around your roof. Then you will not be guilty for the death of a person who falls from the house.

BNV : “তোমরা-দ্রাক্ষা ক্ষেত্রে দুই ধরণের শস্যের বীজ বপন করবে না| কেন? কারণ তাহলে তোমার রোপন করা সমস্ত শস্য এবং এমনকি দ্রাক্ষা-ক্ষেত্রের দ্রাক্ষা থেকেও তুমি বঞ্চিত হবে|
KJV : Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with divers seeds: lest the fruit of thy seed which thou hast sown, and the fruit of thy vineyard, be defiled.
YLT : `Thou dost not sow thy vineyard [with] divers things, lest the fulness of the seed which thou dost sow, and the increase of the vineyard, be separated.
RV : Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with two kinds of seed: lest the whole fruit be forfeited, the seed which thou hast sown, and the increase of the vineyard.
RSV : "You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest the whole yield be forfeited to the sanctuary, the crop which you have sown and the yield of the vineyard.
ASV : Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest the whole fruit be forfeited, the seed which thou hast sown, and the increase of the vineyard.
ESV : "You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest the whole yield be forfeited, the crop that you have sown and the yield of the vineyard.
ERVEN : "You must not plant seeds of grain in the same fields as your grapevines. Why? Because then they become useless —both the grapes and the grain produced by the seeds you planted.

BNV : “তোমরা য়ে আলগা পোশাক পরো তার চারকোণের সুতোর গোছা বেঁধে খোপ দিও|
KJV : Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest [thyself.]
YLT : `Fringes thou dost make to thee on the four skirts of thy covering with which thou dost cover [thyself].
RV : Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four borders of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself.
RSV : "You shall make yourself tassels on the four corners of your cloak with which you cover yourself.

BNV : “একজন পুরুষ কোন স্ত্রীলোককে বিবাহ করে তার সাথে য়ৌন সম্পর্ক স্থাপন করার পরে মনস্থ করতে পারে সে তাকে আর চায না|
KJV : If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
YLT : `When a man taketh a wife, and hath gone in unto her, and hated her,
RV : If any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her,
RSV : "If any man takes a wife, and goes in to her, and then spurns her,

ERVEN : "A man might marry a woman and have sexual relations with her. Then he might decide that he does not like her.

BNV : সেই জন্য সে মিথ্যাভাবে বলতে পারে, ‘আমি এই স্ত্রীলোকটিকে বিবাহ করেছিলাম বটে কিন্তু য়ৌন সহবাসের সময় দেখলাম য়ে সে কুমারী নয়|’ এই বলে সে সেই স্ত্রীলোকটির উপর দুর্নাম আনতে পারে|
KJV : And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid:
YLT : and laid against her actions of words, and brought out against her an evil name, and said, This woman I have taken, and I draw near unto her, and I have not found in her tokens of virginity:
RV : and lay shameful things to her charge, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came nigh to her, I found not in her the tokens of virginity:
RSV : and charges her with shameful conduct, and brings an evil name upon her, saying, `I took this woman, and when I came near her, I did not find in her the tokens of virginity,'
ASV : and lay shameful things to her charge, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came nigh to her, I found not in her the tokens of virginity;
ESV : and accuses her of misconduct and brings a bad name upon her, saying, 'I took this woman, and when I came near her, I did not find in her evidence of virginity,'
ERVEN : He might accuse her of doing wrong and say, 'I married this woman, but when we had sexual relations, I found she was not a virgin. ' By saying this against her, people might think bad things about her.

BNV : এই রকম ঘটলে মেয়েটির পিতা-মাতা সেই মেয়েটির কুমারীত্বের প্রমাণ নিয়ে নগরের প্রবীণদের সাথে নগরের সভাস্থলে উপস্থিত হবে|
KJV : Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth [the tokens of] the damsel’s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
YLT : `Then hath the father of the damsel -- and her mother -- taken and brought out the tokens of virginity of the damsel unto the elders of the city in the gate,
RV : then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel-s virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate:
RSV : then the father of the young woman and her mother shall take and bring out the tokens of her virginity to the elders of the city in the gate;
ASV : then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsels virginity unto the elders of the city in the gate;
ESV : then the father of the young woman and her mother shall take and bring out the evidence of her virginity to the elders of the city in the gate.
ERVEN : If this happens, the girl's father and mother must bring the proof that the girl was a virgin to the town elders at the meeting place of the town.

BNV : মেয়েটির পিতা প্রবীণদের বলবেন, ‘আমি আমার মেয়েকে এই লোকটির হাতে তার স্ত্রী হিসাবে দিয়েছিলাম কিন্তু এখন সে তাকে পছন্দ করে না|
KJV : And the damsel’s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;
YLT : and the father of the damsel hath said unto the elders, My daughter I have given to this man for a wife, and he doth hate her;
RV : and the damsel-s father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;
RSV : and the father of the young woman shall say to the elders, `I gave my daughter to this man to wife, and he spurns her;
ASV : and the damsels father shall say unto the elders, I gave my daughter unto this man to wife, and he hateth her;
ESV : And the father of the young woman shall say to the elders, 'I gave my daughter to this man to marry, and he hates her;
ERVEN : The girl's father must say to the leaders, 'I gave my daughter to this man to be his wife, but now he does not want her.

BNV : এই লোকটি আমার মেয়ের নামে মিথ্যা বলেছে| সে বলেছে, “তোমার মেয়ে কুমারী ছিল না|” কিন্তু এই দেখুন আমার মেয়ে য়ে কুমারী তার প্রমাণ|” এই বলে তারা কাপড়টি নগরের প্রবীণদের দেখাবে|
KJV : And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech [against her,] saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these [are the tokens of] my daughter’s virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city.
YLT : and lo, he hath laid actions of words, saying, I have not found to thy daughter tokens of virginity -- and these [are] the tokens of the virginity of my daughter! and they have spread out the garment before the elders of the city.
RV : and, lo, he hath laid shameful things {cf15i to her charge}, saying, I found not in thy daughter the tokens of virginity; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter-s virginity. And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city.
RSV : and lo, he has made shameful charges against her, saying, "I did not find in your daughter the tokens of virginity." And yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity.' And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city.
ASV : and, lo, he hath laid shameful things to her charge, saying, I found not in thy daughter the tokens of virginity; and yet these are the tokens of my daughters virginity. And they shall spread the garment before the elders of the city.
ESV : and behold, he has accused her of misconduct, saying, "I did not find in your daughter evidence of virginity." And yet this is the evidence of my daughter's virginity.' And they shall spread the cloak before the elders of the city.
ERVEN : This man accused my daughter of doing wrong and said, "I did not find the proof that your daughter is a virgin." But here is the proof that my daughter was a virgin.' Then they should show the cloth to the town leaders.

BNV : তখন সেই নগরের প্রবীণরা অবশ্যই সেই লোকটিকে নিয়ে গিয়ে শাস্তি দেবে|
KJV : And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him;
YLT : `And the elders of that city have taken the man, and chastise him,
RV : And the elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him;
RSV : Then the elders of that city shall take the man and whip him;
ASV : And the elders of that city shall take the man and chastise him;
ESV : Then the elders of that city shall take the man and whip him,
ERVEN : Then the leaders of that town must take that man and punish him.

BNV : তারা অবশ্যই লোকটির জন্য40 আউন্স রৌপ্য় জরিমানা করবে| সেই টাকা য়েন মেয়েটির পিতাকে দেওয়া হয়, কারণ মেয়েটির স্বামী একজন ইস্রায়েলীয় কুমারীর উপর দুর্নাম এনেছে| আর সেই মেয়েটি সেই লোকটির স্ত্রী হয়েই থাকবে| সেই লোকটি তার জীবনকালে তাকে বিবাহ বিচ্ছেদ দিতে পারবে না|
KJV : And they shall amerce him in an hundred [shekels] of silver, and give [them] unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
YLT : and fined him a hundred silverlings, and given to the father of the damsel, because he hath brought out an evil name on a virgin of Israel, and she is to him for a wife, he is not able to send her away all his days.
RV : and they shall amerce him in an hundred {cf15i shekels} of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
RSV : and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver, and give them to the father of the young woman, because he has brought an evil name upon a virgin of Israel; and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
ASV : and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days.
ESV : and they shall fine him a hundred shekels of silver and give them to the father of the young woman, because he has brought a bad name upon a virgin of Israel. And she shall be his wife. He may not divorce her all his days.
ERVEN : They must fine him 40 ounces of silver. They will give the money to the girl's father because her husband brought shame to an Israelite girl. And the girl will continue to be the man's wife. He cannot divorce her for the rest of his life.

BNV : “কিন্তু এও হতে পারে য়ে মেয়েটির স্বামী তার সম্বন্ধে যা বলেছে তা সত্য| স্ত্রীলোকটির মাতা-পিতার কাছে তার কুমারীত্বের প্রমাণ নাও থাকতে পারে|
KJV : But if this thing be true, [and the tokens of] virginity be not found for the damsel:
YLT : `And if this thing hath been truth -- tokens of virginity have not been found for the damsel --
RV : But if this thing be true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the damsel:
RSV : But if the thing is true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the young woman,
ASV : But if this thing be true, that the tokens of virginity were not found in the damsel;
ESV : But if the thing is true, that evidence of virginity was not found in the young woman,
ERVEN : "But what the husband said about his wife might be true. The wife's parents might not have the proof that she was a virgin. If this happens,

BNV : যদি তাই ঘটে তবে নগরের প্রবীণরা সেই মেয়েটিকে নিয়ে তার পিতার বাড়ীর দরজায আসবে| তারপর সেই নগরের লোকরা মেয়েটিকে পাথর মেরে হত্যা করবে| কারণ ইস্রায়েলের মধ্যে সে লজ্জাজনক কাজ করেছে| সে পিতার বাড়ীতে বেশ্যার মতো ব্যবহার করেছে| তুমি তোমার লোকদের মধ্যে থেকে এইভাবে দুষ্টাচার দূর করবে|
KJV : Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father’s house: so shalt thou put evil away from among you.
YLT : then they have brought out the damsel unto the opening of her father`s house, and stoned her have the men of her city with stones, and she hath died, for she hath done folly in Israel, to go a-whoring [in] her father`s house; and thou hast put away the evil thing out of thy midst.
