‘ধিক্ ব্যবস্থার শিক্ষক ও ফরীশীর দল, তোমরা ভণ্ড! তোমরা পুদিনা, মৌরী ও জিরার দশভাগের একভাগ ঈশ্বরকে দিয়ে থাক অথচ ন্যায়, দযা ও বিশ্বস্ততা, ব্যবস্থার এই বিশেষ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ শিক্ষা অবহেলা করে থাক৷ আগের ঐ বিষয়গুলি পালন করার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে পরের এই বিষয়গুলি পালন করাও তোমাদের উচিত৷

But you don't obey the really important teachings of the law—being fair, showing mercy, and being faithful. These are the things you should do. And you should also continue to do those other things.
