BNV যীশু তখন তাঁর শিষ্যদের বললেন, ‘এইলোকদের জন্য আমার মনে কষ্ট হচ্ছে, কারণ এরা আজ তিন দিন হল আমার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে আছে, এদের কাছে আর কোন খাবার নেই৷ এই ক্ষুধার্ত অবস্থায় এদের আমি চলে য়েতে বলতে পারি না, তাহলে হয়তো এরা পথে মুর্ছা যাবে৷’
KJV Then Jesus called his disciples [unto him,] and said, {SCJ}I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. {SCJ.}
YLT And Jesus having called near his disciples, said, `I have compassion upon the multitude, because now three days they continue with me, and they have not what they may eat; and to let them away fasting I will not, lest they faint in the way.`
