ତା'ପରେ ଯୀଶୁ ଝିଅଟିର ହାତ ଧରି ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, "ଟଲିଥା, କୂମ୍" ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ହେ ଝିଅ, ମୁଁ ତୋତେ କହୁଛି ଉଠ। ଝିଅଟି ସଙ୍ଗେ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଉଠି ଠିଆ ହେଲା ଓ ଚାଲିବାକୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲା। ଝିଅଟିର ବୟସ ବାର ବର୍ଷ ଥିଲା।

And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, {SCJ}Talitha cumi;{SCJ.} which is, being interpreted, {SCJ}Damsel,{SCJ.} I say unto thee, {SCJ}arise. {SCJ.}
