সাত দিনের মাথায় যাজক অবশ্যই ছাতা পড়া অংশটি দেখবে| ছাতা পড়া অংশটা চামড়ার বা কাপড়ের ওপর হোক তাতে তেমন কিছু ইস্রায়েলেয আসে না| যদি পোশাক তাঁতে বোনা বা হাতে বোনা হয় তাতেও কিছু ইস্রায়েলেয আসে না, চামড়া কিসে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে সেটাও কোন ব্যাপার নয| যদি ছাতা পড়া অংশটা ছড়ায তাহলে সেই কাপড় বা চামড়া অশুচি| সংক্রামনটি অশুচি| যাজক অবশ্যই সেই কাপড় ও চামড়া পুড়িয়ে ফেলবে|

And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, [or] in any work that is made of skin; the plague [is] a fretting leprosy; it [is] unclean.

On the seventh day, he must look at it again. It doesn't matter if the mildew is on leather or cloth or if the cloth is woven or knitted. And it doesn't matter what the leather was used for. If the mildew has spread, the object is unclean because of the infection. The priest must burn it.
