বিন্যামীন সৈন্যবাহিনী গিবিয়া থেকে বেরিয়ে এল ইস্রায়েলীয়দের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করতে| ইস্রায়েলবাহিনী তাদের বাধা না দিয়ে সুয়োগ দিতে থাকল যেন তারা ওদের পিছু পিছু তাড়া করে| এই ভাবে তারা কৌশল করে বিন্যামীনদের শহর থেকে অনেক খানি দূরে বের করে আনল|বিন্যামীন সৈন্যরা আগের মত এবারও কিছু ইস্রায়েল সৈন্য হত্যা করতে শুরু করল| তারা প্রায় 30 জন ইস্রায়েলীয়কে হত্যা করল| কয়েকজনকে হত্যা করল মাঠে আর কয়েকজনকে হত্যা করল রাস্তায়| একটা রাস্তা গেছে বৈথেলের দিকে| আর একটা গিবিয়ার দিকে|

And the children of Benjamin went out against the people, [and] were drawn away from the city; and they began to smite of the people, [and] kill, as at other times, in the highways, of which one goeth up to the house of God, and the other to Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel.

The army of Benjamin came out of the city of Gibeah to fight the army of Israel. The army of Israel backed up and let the army of Benjamin chase them. In this way the army of Benjamin was tricked into leaving the city far behind them. The army of Benjamin began to kill some of the men in the army of Israel, as they had done before. They killed about 30 men from Israel. They killed some of them in the fields, and they killed some of them on the roads. One road led to the city of Bethel. The other road led to the city of Gibeah.
