તેથી યહૂદાના કુળસમૂહમાંથી ત્રણહજાર માંણસો ‘એટામ’ના ખડકની ગુફા આગળ ગયા સામસૂનને મળ્યા અને કહ્યું, “તને એટલી ખબર નથી કે અમે પલિસ્તીઓના તાબેદાર છીએ? તે અમને કેવી કફોડી સ્થિતિમાં મૂકી દીધા?”તેણે કહ્યું, “મેં તેઓ સાથે એવોજ વર્તાવ કર્યો, જેવો વર્તાવ તેઓએ માંરી સાથે કર્યો હતો.”

Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines [are] rulers over us? what [is] this [that] thou hast done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.
