କିନ୍ତୁ ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ହେ ମାରେ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ମହାରାଜ, ମାରେ ଅନୁ ରୋଧ ରକ୍ଷାକରି ମାରେ କଥା ଶ୍ରବଣ କରନ୍ତୁ, ଆପଣ ୟୋନାଥନ୍ ଲେଖକର ଗୃହକୁ ମାେତେ ପୁନର୍ବାର ପଠାନ୍ତୁ ନାହିଁ। ତାହା ହେଲେ ସଠାେ ରେ ମୁଁ ମରିୟିବି। ମୁଁ ନିବଦନେ କରୁଛି, ମାରେ ଏହି ଅନୁରୋଧ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଛାମୁ ରେ ଗ୍ରାହ୍ଯ ହେଉ।"

Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.
