ଏଣୁ ଯେଉଁ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ନାମ ରେ ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବାକ୍ଯ ପ୍ରଚାର କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପ୍ ରରଣେ ନ କଲେ ହେଁ ସମାନେେ କହନ୍ତି, "ଏ ଦେଶ ରେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଓ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହବେ ନାହିଁ, ସହେିମାନଙ୍କ ବିଷଯ ରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି,' ସହେି ଭବିଷ୍ଯଦବକ୍ତାମାନେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ଓ ଦୁର୍ଭିକ୍ଷ ଦ୍ବାରା ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହବେେ।

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

So this is what I say about the prophets who are speaking in my name. I did not send them. They said, 'No enemy with swords will ever attack this country. There will never be hunger in this land.' Those prophets will die from hunger, and an enemy's sword will kill them.
