ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଖଡ୍ଗ ରେ ଚ୍ଛଦନେ କରିବା ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମସ୍ତେ ବଧ୍ଯସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ନଇଁ ପଡ଼ିବ। କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଡ଼ାକିଲା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଉତ୍ତର କଲ ନାହିଁ, ଆମ୍ଭେ କଥା କହିଲା ବେଳେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଶୁଣିଲ ନାହିଁ। କିନ୍ତୁ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଯାହା ମନ୍ଦ ସହେି କାର୍ୟ୍ଯ କଲ ଓ ଯାହା ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଅସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ କରିବ ସହେି କାର୍ୟଅକୁ ମନୋନୀତ କଲ।"

Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose [that] wherein I delighted not.
