আমার প্রভু বলেন, “ঐ মানুষরা আমার প্রতি ভালোবাসার কথা জানিয়েছে| তাদের মুখ নিঃসৃত শব্দ আমার প্রতি সম্মান জানায| কিন্তু তাদের হৃদয় আমার থেকে অনেক দূরে| আমাকে যে সম্মান তারা জানায তা তাদের মুখস্থ করা মানবিক বিধিসমূহ ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়|

Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near [me] with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:
