একমাত্র ঈশ্বরের পুত্রই ঈশ্বরের মহিমার ও তাঁর প্রকৃতির মূর্ত প্রকাশ৷ ঈশ্বরের পুত্র তাঁর পরাক্রান্ত বাক্যের দ্বারা সবকিছু ধরে রেখেছেন৷ সেই পুত্র মানুষকে সমস্ত পাপ থেকে শুচিশুদ্ধ করেছেন৷ তারপর স্বর্গে ঈশ্বরের মহিমার ডানপাশের আসনে বসেছেন৷

Who being the brightness of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
