పారశీక రాజ్యానికి కోరెషు రాజైన మొదటి సంవత్సరం , యెహోవా కోరెషును ఒక ప్రకటన చేయవలసిందిగా ప్రోత్సహించాడు. కోరెషు ఆ ప్రకటనను వ్రాయించి, తన రాజ్యపు అన్ని ప్రాంతాలలోనూ చదివి వినిపించే ఏర్పాటు చేశాడు. దేవుడు యిర్మీయా నోట పలికించిన యీ సందేశం వాస్తవ రూపం ధరించేందుకు అనువుగా ఈ ప్రకటన చేయడం జరిగింది. ఆ ప్రకటన యిలా సాగింది:

ಪರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ರಾಜನಾದ ಸೈರಸನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಲು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದನು. ಆ ಪ್ರಕಟನೆಯನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಸಾಮ್ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಓದಿಸಿದನು. ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನ ಮೂಲಕ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೇಳಿದ ವಿಷಯಗಳು ನೆರವೇರುವಂತೆ ಇದಾಯಿತು. ಆ ಪ್ರಕಟನೆ ಇಂತಿದೆ:
