ঈশ্বর তাঁর নাম জেরুশালেমে রেখে দেবেন| কোন রাজা অথবা দেশ অথবা কেউ যদি এই আদেশ বদলাবার চেষ্টা করে অথবা জেরুশালেমে মন্দির ধ্বংস করবার চেষ্টা করে তাহলে য়েন ঈশ্বর তাদের পরাজিত ও ধ্বংস করেন|আমি, দারিয়াবস এই আদেশ দিয়েছি| এই আদেশ অতি সত্ত্বর এবং সম্পূর্ণভাবে পালন করা চাই|

And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put to their hand to alter [and] to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed.

God put his name there in Jerusalem. May God defeat any king or other person who tries to change this order. If anyone tries to destroy this Temple in Jerusalem, may God destroy that person. I, Darius, have ordered it. This order must be obeyed quickly and completely.
