அரசனது கட்டளையை கேட்டபோது பல பெண்கள் தலைநகரமான சூசானுக்குக் கொண்டு வரப்பட்டனர். அப்பெண்கள் யேகாயின் பொறுப்பில் விடப்பட்டனர். எஸ்தரும் அவர்களுள் ஒருத்தி எஸ்தர் அரசனின் அரண்மனைக்கு அழைத்து செல்லப்பட்டு யேகாயின் பொறுப்பில் விடப்பட்டாள். யேகா, அரசனது பெண்களின் பொறுப்பை ஏற்றிருந்தான்.
