ಅವನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯೋ ಮೂಢ ನೋ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತು? ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ಪಟ್ಟ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಯಾಸದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನಾನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯೆಂದು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಅವನು ಆಳುವನು. ಇದೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೇ.

And who knoweth whether he shall be a wise [man] or a fool? yet shall he have rule over all my labour wherein I have laboured, and wherein I have shewed myself wise under the sun. This [is] also vanity.
