அவர்: ஆமோசே, நீ என்னத்தைக் காண்கிறாய் என்று கேட்டார்? பழுத்த பழங்களுள்ள ஒரு கூடையைக் காண்கிறேன் என்றேன். அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: என் ஜனமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலுக்கு முடிவுகாலம் வந்தது; இனி அவர்களை மன்னிக்கமாட்டேன்.

And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
