ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಚೀಬನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಮೆಫೀಬೋಶೆತನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿನ್ನದಾಯಿತು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಚೀಬನು--ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆ ಯನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ದಯೆದೊರಕಲಿ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

Then said the king to Ziba, Behold, thine [are] all that [pertained] unto Mephibosheth. And Ziba said, I humbly beseech thee [that] I may find grace in thy sight, my lord, O king.
