ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಯುಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರುಷ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೆ ಬೀಳದಂತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಪಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬದೇ.

ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರ್ಷಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ನಗರವನ್ನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರದ ರಾಜನ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಈ ನಗರವನ್ನು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೂ ನನಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
